LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors

Recommended Posts

This has been answered a million times already. The Tank droid was in a deleted scene of Ep 2. And as to why Jango is in it well TLG is not known for its 100% movie accuracy so he is part of the 1st battle of Geonosis which the tank is a part of in the deleted scene so they put Jango in because TLG can. Which I can’t complain about because well he is a much wanted update!

Oh I'm sorry, I already went through all the pages but i don't remember. Anyway thanks for the answer, and I ttally agree that Lego may sacrifice accuracy but it's better for collectors beacuse they can have many goodies for one purchase.

10240 - 'Red Squadron X-Wing Starfighter'. UK £170.

Shame on you Lego!

Well, at that price I'd guess it is an UCS.

I guess LEGO is starting to re-make UCS sets. Does that mean this one is now UUCS? Sad

But what's with the "shame" thing`? Concerning the price or what??

I dont understand too. I think a new UCSXWING is a great choice , and the price is correct too.

Shame that a new UCS cheapens the "Ultimate collector-ness" of the original?

Well so far the guy who said this was coming out was right, so hopefully we will get an ewok village later this year like he said !!

As for this set I will definitely not be getting this as I do not have much time for UCS small 1 seated ships and I would much rather save for the ewok village.

I like the sound if it actually, even if I won't be buying it. USC is just too expensive most of the time for me...just a dream it would be to own a UCS set....

Anyway, I also look forward to the gunship and AT-TE. I missed their CW iterations in 2008 and can't wait to buy them!

Pics will appear on the link when released, as Brickset will not post Prelim Pictures.

Shame is because I would rather have a new set rather than a re-design of an old one, I will have to see the pics when released to make a final call.

Releasing a UCS that has been done?

Hmm... this proves my point on the definition of what UCS actually means-in definition, rather than peoples random interpretations in or out of context regardless of what the majority 'think' it means due to precedence.

Ultimate doesn't have to mean 'final'.... However can be interpreted as 'the greatest extreme/maximum/of the greatest possible size/utmost/extreme, which isn't sooo final/end/last

Collector also doesn't mean limited. It means it is something which someone collects, *regardless of rarity*.

*limited edition* dictates rarity.

So, Im quite interested in seeing this new UCS-Xwing and what TLG have done to improve it. Any ideas when pics may surface of it?

Thanks cavegod, it's interesting that Lego will be releasing a new UCS-priced X-wing after all. I wonder if it will be radically different from the old one? I guess this opens the door to an updated UCS-type Falcon in a few years.....

Hmm. Not saying you're lying, but it seems odd, having a blank page for that.

EDIT: Example:

10236 - Ewok Village

Reminds me of this Brickset trick you can do.
