MOC: Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

Recommended Posts

My interpretation of Charlie Brown's iconic tree. Let me know what you think.

EDIT: Added more because I just couldn't leave you with just the tree

No lies, this is amazing. So nostalgic! It's very accurate to the real thing, and all it needs now is a Charlie Brown fig and a Snoopy.

Cute - and a nice easy design (something I could build).

Charlie Brown was always one of my favorites as a kid, and the Christmas show is still one of the things I look forward to every year. Love the sound track.

In any case, nice little MOC. Are you planing to add some figs?

Merry Christmas Charlie Brown! :classic:

I am planning on adding more. This is just a teaser. I am working on a complete winter village with all sorts of Christmas fun for the NILTC Christmas Show this weekend.

Looks really good! It's a wonder how few pieces can turn out into a simple but effective build with just a bit of imagination. Good job on this one DHCP1121! default_thumbup.gif Question though, that is a whip piece right?

Question though, that is a whip piece right?

Yes, it is a brown version of the one the ringleader has from series two collectible minifigs.

I added bonus pictures to the top. Lucy's Psychiatric Booth and Snoopy's award winning doghouse as well as pictures from the cartoon as reference.

...where's Snoopy?

I knew that question would come up. I haven't made a version that I am happy with. I hope I can come up with one by the weekend for the show. I want to keep him minifig sized if possible so it is presenting a little challenge. I'm working on it though.
