Mattallica Posted January 24 In all my years of building Lego sets, i dont believe ive ever had this happen before, i just finished putting together 76276 and had the usual "extra" bricks but it also had a black 1x2 jumper (3794b) which doesn't even appear in the set at all. deraven Posted January 25 That is weird. Assuming it didn't end up there from some other part of your collection getting into the build area, I wonder if it's a total fluke or if more folks have that same extra element for some reason. None of the online inventories seem to list it as either a needed or extra part, so it can't be too widespread...
Feuer Zug Posted January 25 Congrats, LEGO has deemed you worthy of an extra 1x2 jumper. I guess quality control and packaging aren't what they used to be.
TeriXeri Posted January 25 (edited) Between 2016 and 2023 I had 4 situations of parts being swapped or extra. 1x6 plate not meant to be in the set, instead of a 2x2 corner L brick. (2017 Creator 3-in-1) extra 2x2 slope (part of the set) instead of a 1x2 clip brick. (2022 Ninjago) 1x4 plate outside of a bag. (2020 Brickheadz) 1x3 tile extra (2023 Friends) Edited January 25 by TeriXeri

As long as nothing is missing, I will gladly take extra parts in my sets! Edited January 26 by Classic_Spaceman

Well, if poor quality control means MORE parts, I ain't complaining...
