Thank you for the compliments. I'm glad you like the ship.

@NOD somewhere, in one of your posts, you made a wish:

My topic is double. At Brethren of the Brick Seas, we do not get new members. New members are at LEGO Pirates and Pirate MOCs. With topics and replies we can perhaps arouse interest.

As it happens, writers are in the business of wish fulfilment, so we (Classic-Pirates team) decided to use this MOC and give special coverage to Brethren of the Brick Seas inside the Cartagena post.

I hope this will attract new members to the Sea Rats faction :pir-triumph:

Also, you have been frontpaged pir-eurobricks.png   and blogged.png

Your ship's overall shape, its all curves and composition of sail are very nice. It is beautiful ship.

And I wonder about its durability. I have no idea about such a build.

Wow, I'm impressed! Thank you very much, you are an excellent author! :pir-love: The whole post was told on classic-pirates.com with lots of interesting background information and a funny story.

Thank you very much, I am very pleased that you like my galleon. With real bricks, it takes a lot of extra bricks in the hull to stabilize the construction.

You Mr., are extraordinarily talented.

Thank you for the compliment. I like when Lego ships look like wooden model ships.

Hah, far from it but thank you, and I'm glad you like it!

Truth be told this was a team effort. You gave us enough raw material (including the original story), I did the writing, and two other outstanding individuals did the editorial reading and corrections.

So, are you gonna do this out of real bricks anytime soon? :pir-classic:

Have you ever made a wooden type, like so?

Unfortunately, I have never built a ship model out of wood. Many years ago I built different model kits out of plastic.

Yes, that was a great team effort.

This will only be possible in a few years, until I have enough Lego bricks to build it.
