I assume you must be familiar with this Flickr group:

I am not sure your vignettes would fit in this group as they are not exactly matching the format of an album cover - but in any case you have done a fantastic job with these.

I'm pleased to revive this thread once again to showcase some new music dioramas! 

31. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds- Murder Ballads

32. Lana Del Rey- Norman F#%&*!@ Rockwell!

33. Ween- The Mollusk

34. Big Star- #1 Record

I really wanted to use my glow-in-the-dark bars from my fairground mixer to make the star. The problem is they are 4L which creates quite an oblong shape when the constraints are only 7 bricks tall. Still, I think it turned out great!

(I really had no choice but to use glow-in-the-dark pieces here, did I? )

29. (Redux) Talk Talk- Laughing Stock 

I redesigned the tree to make it appear more circular, as well as eliminating many of the original animals attached, which originally made it look too cluttered in my opinion. This is probably my favorite album cover of all time so I had to do it justice!

Lastly, I wanted to show an admittedly grainy image of my current display of this project, right above my vinyl turntable. Here's to building a whole room full of these eventually, ha.

Very nice!  The Cure’s Disintegration is the real standout here for me.  It’s also great to see them all together.  

Are these all albums you own on vinyl?  It would be great to see them arranged in the same way if you do.  I’ve been lucky enough to have access to a Linn turntable belonging to my grandfather, so I know from experience - and you will probably agree - that vinyl has a unique and truly amazing sound - it is the way to go regarding music.  Pity some are so hard to find as CDs still have the lead despite vinyl’s return to popularity in the past decade.

Anyway, amazing work and looking forward to seeing many more album cover dioramas in the future!

Nah, these don't have any relation to if I own the record on vinyl-- I actually just started getting into vinyl this year. Yes, it is truly a superior sound haha.

Here are all 40 that I've made since 2017! I tried out something new this time by organizing them by color. Besides a small plant on the right, they take up an entire 4 foot shelf now!

Superb. I always love to see what music is loved by whom. I don’t know the most of it (at least not the albums) but it’s great to see that these inspired you to build this. Keep’em coming!
