2maxwell Posted March 30, 2017 Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone was sure what color the yellow portions of the 2015 governor's torso were. I'm hoping to use them to create some Hessian troops, and I want to give them matching legs. I'm certain it's not yellow, but I don't know if its closer to orange or bright orange, and I don't have the pieces on hand to compare them. Anyone know? Thanks. lomis Posted March 30, 2017 Your guess is as good as mine. But feel free to check out my entry in the LIBRARY: Pirate Torso/Decal/Sticker Designs thread. I don't remember why I chose the colors I used back then, but one is RGB 250,166,30 and the other is RGB 227,175,72.
Boettner Builds Posted March 31, 2017 (edited) The "yellow" pipeing is actually gold, and rather sparkling. The darker color inside the pipeing is is sort of a yellowish green. I tried a few different colors of legs and I think the dark tan looks the best. a quick internet search show a lot of them wearing white pants... 2maxwell Posted April 3, 2017 Thanks for the help guys. I think I may have to just order some of the pieces and mix and match. I'll upload results if anyone else is interested.

2maxwell Posted May 18, 2017 (edited) Came across some orange legs recently so I figured I'd give it a try. Submitted for your approval: Edited May 18, 2017 by 2maxwell
blackdeathgr Posted June 5, 2017 Hm, too bright orange maybe?
LM71Blackbird Posted January 17, 2018 As far as I know most 17th and 18th century military uniforms consisted of a colored jacket (either red, blue, white, green, etc...) and then had either white or tan/off-white pants. That would be if you are going for historical accuracy. If your just doing it for fun, you could give them all pink legs!
iammac Posted January 19, 2018 Ooh! Those orange pants are just what I need! I'm not wearing any currently; that's why this picture is taken from the torso up. In all honesty, I can't stand the bright orange. I tried it out with my own torso and I agree that white/tan/dark tan look the best, with light bley being the next best.
