"How to Build a Bionicle Creation" from WikiHow

Recommended Posts

This answers all of our questions. Puts the final nail in the coffin of "how to make a MoC".

See everyone? Clashing textures isn't a problem. It's all about the personality!

Basically you could sum it up as: Look at some stuff, build a skeleton, put cool stuff on the skeleton, just do whatever you want. While that is the simplest way to sum up MOCing I feel that there's no real substance to this tutorial. It doesn't give any tips, tricks, or even good creations. It just states the (hopefully) obvious.

That last bit about not worrying if the mask clashes with the rest was the funniest part of the tutorial. So what if it doesn't match? It's all about *personality*.

For a beginner I think it's the best suggestion. If he wanna become the koolest MOCer in town he'll sure find his way sooner or later.

Not entirely wrong. In my experience, how a build conveys character is just as important as the build itself. And if clashing textures support the characterization somehow, all the better. :P
