You could use it as a giant bat to torment/be a steed for your minifigures. Here's a bat I created in 2006 that is still in my display collection. The head and wings are articulated, but the legs can only be posed by making a change to their construction using the same pieces. But I always used the same technique for the head and parts of the body. Nice bat! Unfortunately my version is fixed, no articulation.
