Robin fun pack, Raven level pack, sonic level pack, Finn level pack, Jake fun pack, Erin Gilbert fun pack, and Patty Tolan fun pack all need to happen.

I can't imagine any kids clamouring to play as Mr T though, whereas the other franchises currently have kids who'd want to buy those packs also (with the exception of Portal, which turned out to be an extremely odd choice). Plenty of kids have seen Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, Jurassic World, Scooby Doo, Batman and other DC Comics properties but I can't imagine many have seen either A Team or a show presented by Mr T. It's an odd choice because it's something that presumably only people born in the 80s will get and want to buy the pack he is in.

I never said any kids would be clamoring to play as him. Like several franchises available in game he's clearly aimed more at adults, after all a large portion of gamers are adults, it would be entirely short sighted of Lego to only choose franchises and characters that only kids like. Even Dr. Who is clearly more aimed at adult fans than child fans. This game is clearly meant to appeal to a wide variety of people of all ages.

The majority of the licenses in the game include a heavy amount of nostalgia. They're obviously interested in getting young and old into the game. Adventure Time surprises me just because it's much newer than almost any other franchise in the game (Excluding the Lego brand franchises).

The new Ghostbusters stuff sounds fun, though. Do you think that we'll get the new Ecto-1 with those packs? I take it that if one of those Ghostbusters packs includes Holtzmann that they won't be doing that thing they did for the original Ghostbusters where one Peter Venkman figure unlocked the whole team? Because Melissa McCarthy's character seems like the main character in this one, so she'd have to get one, right?

I'll be shocked if they don't do the new Ecto-1. Probably the new Ghost Trap also.

HAL is already in the game, so I don't think the creature label counts as anything. It's debatable if his role applies to the label, though.

By the way that bit with him and GLADOS in the Portal level in story mode. Hilarious stuff! Seriously I was laughing so hard at HAL 9000 suddenly appearing out of one of the portals in Lego Dimensions and then starts calling GLADOS "Dave" is priceless stuff. I honestly wasn't expecting that to happen and when the moment GLADOS started telling HAL to go away I found it so hilarious that I literally had my characters just stand there watching the whole scene as the conversation unfolded.

You haven't played them? Ah man ya missing out but honestly you've gotta try 'em out some time. They are very good games if your looking a challenging and unique experience from the Portal games then they are right up your alley.

Though I have to say the show for Sonic Boom is a bit better than the actual games it's based on. It's alright but still a lot better than Sonic X.

I don't know why I bother writing this as it seems you'll only read the part you want. Adults buy games too. It doesn't really matter if kids know Mr. T or like him. He's just a nostalgic throwback they've put in game for the adult gamer's, likely in an attempt to get adults to buy into the game. And who knows, maybe he's part of a greater franchise that just hasn't been revealed. Maybe there's some sort of classic wrestling license or some 80's land or whatever else. We really have no idea how he'll be included in the game at this point. It's an odd choice, but it's hard to say it's a failure when we don't even know how he'll factor in.

I'm actually looking at the stuff related to the Midway Arcade Level Pack and apparently one of the lists that we have has a character from that level pack called George the Gorilla and he's based on Godzilla from what I've read. And now that I've learnt that the level pack itself is going to have 6 different endings I'm actually wanting to give it a go despite the fact that I don't know a god damn thing about any of the games represented in Lego Dimensions.
