I was over the moon when I picked the 8070 up off Gumtree! Since then I have spent many hours improving the aesthetics and adding drive and steering, which was quite a tight squeeze. I maintained most of the original functions except for the rear spoiler (I thought it was a bit ugly). I am working on the instructions but they are taking a while. This will be my last post for the year as I have got to get ready for the Brickvention. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and has a safe and happy new year!

Nice work. The only suggestion I would make would be to replace The 1x3 red liftarms in the front bumper with black like JunkStyle Gio showed here

I had the same spare parts left over from my build, they were used in the B model.

Nice way of filling in the gaps in the hood area....i took a different approach. I used 8 of the new small panels to fill in the gaps....but leaving some are open to see the engine inside.

I also added extra headlights on the black corssbar on the front bumper. I really like the job you did on the back end!...can we get some pics of that area?

Instructions are on the way, I am pretty sure I took some photos of the rear in the WIP thread (link is above in first post). I would like to see yours also!

I love the 8070. This is the set that brought me out of my dark ages. I know there were multiple super cars before the 8070, but I was not aware of them (I have since procured the super street sensation and I also love it). After I built it... I had to modify it. Love your mods... one thing I would highly recommend is using black rims though... heres my version with a ridiculously large air intake, black rims, and additional modifications...

I did put them on and I personally prefer black rims, but for this one it just didn't suit it in my own opinion. It is a great set and the best part is that I got it for $130! Thanks for the compliments,

Jeppo
