Sucks to have to wait so long though haha. Although, I would rather what I wish they did with the diorama set back in 2022, and have the GWP be Donald Gennaro with the outhouse! Quote

Thoughts on these, Baby Pteranodon, I am very surprised this isnt a builable baby, and an actual juniors set, which i do prefer more mouded dinos lol. Cheeky buggers left out our Mosasaurus set though haha, hopefully he can redeem the wave, cause otherwise best part for me are the minifigs lmao🤣 Quote

I hope the Mosa becomes a regular playset, not a fan of the reused Marvel mould for the pteranodon and the Small T-rex doesn´t look that great either. Quote

So at this point are we pretty sure we're not getting a bumpy style big figure or did I just see the recolor of the spider-man pterosaur and jump to conclusions? Quote

With the list of sets we got and the revealed teasers from Lego, I would say it is very likely that that is it and there won´t be a buildable dinosaur this year. Quote

So now we have the full 18+ sets revealed, really awesome they included Gerry Harding in the Trike set, funny we got him before Gennaro🤣🤣 We have majority of the main wave, which looks very.. disappointing to say the least. No word on the GWP, but! That sketch of the Mosa set looks incredible! Honestly I cannot wait to see it and what its based off, I think BrickBob nailed it with the FK Opening scene, the Sub and the Heli with some mercenaries, i dont know if they could include CC characters maybe as that did technically happen in the show lol Quote

mantax Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I wasn't a big fan of the Spinosaurus set at first, but after looking at it for some time, I have to say that this does actually feel really great. Thanks to the Spino being brick build, not only is there more poseability, but also it's able to have a lot more details. Since the lack of paint on the dinos has been a huge problem for me with this theme recently. Like for example the Rebirth spino has so much detail on the body and head, but the legs and arms are one solid color with zero details. For the 4+ sets I don't care at all. But at least we finally have a set based on TLW. The Triceraptos skeleton looks solid, but I never buy sets that are just statues for display that don't do anything. Also the other 4+ set isn't that $30 Baby Pteranodon set(as It's 100% confirmed that it is a $30 373 piece 7+ set). like I've seen some people say. This is simply the same case as the Mosa boat set from Rebirth, since we didn't knew about that sets existence until the official reveal as well. From the sketch there isn't much to say about the Mosa set, but it just looks like a typical fun Jurassic World playset. And that's exactly what I want from this theme. Quote

And i think thats because the head is too big/long comparitively. It also has arms that stick out very strangely and I am not a fan of how the "claws" are oriented, left hand sideways and right hand upwards. I dont mind the colours, and at least with the head anyways it might just be the angle of the photo but the main body and legs look good just the forequarter of him. I think its this snout, how it looks really long, then right at the nose gets chunky. Hopefully it looks better with a closed mouth🤣 Quote
