  1. Look on instagram and search for Lego JW, it'll pop up very easily, but it has the newly recoloured raptor in it lol
  2. I am very grateful we finally have modern original trilogy sets finally, even if they are a little lacking. I think they gave us a brick built Spino so that way they can do a proper JP3 full wave with the long awaited Moulded JP3 Spino! This one will do for now🤣🤣 I do actually like how the body and spine are built, especially with how they did the stripes all the way through to the spine. And i saw a theory that said the reason we have the baby T-rex mould could be because it was meant for Rebirth as originally that Dilophosaurus was meant to be a young T-rex as seen in story board scripts, however that got scrapped unfortunately. But anyways, its possible as Lego would've been given storyboards to base sets off of, they created a Baby T-rex mold in the process, but then the movie changed and they were left with this mould that they didnt know what to use for just yet. Not sure how plausible that theory is but either way im glad we got a TLW with a Baby T-rex!
  3. I find it a bit funny that one of the new foil bags has the literal new blue young Velociraptor🤣 takes quite a bit of that exclusivity away haha
  4. There is no comparison🤣🤣
  5. Fully agree with all of that, the old Mosa definitely keeps nostalgia points, but respectfully has always looked pretty goofy lol. Some people have added technic pieces to their new Mosa to have the flippers positioned to the side/straight down instead of out which looks really great, though there must be a better piece that can give us better articulation
  6. Hahaha, but it is very awesome to see them get such good sizing, and also something i noticed with all of these sets, i dont know how long they've been doing it for but the instructions have like effects on some of the pages, like for example some water pieces have pictures of water droplets next to it, or even funnier, in the Spinosaurus set right when you finish building the poop theres actually a picture of steam coming off of it🤣🤣🤣 theres so many more of those small details in the instructions lol
  7. The Mosasaurus is so much bigger in person! How crap its a dream come true, i honestly never thought we'd get a molded one, especially last year when they gave us a brickbuilt one lol! The rest of the sets are ok, nothing too exciting, aside from TLW and JP3 characters! Fingers crossed we can have a full wave of TLW sets fot the 30th Anniversary next year!🤞🤞😁😁
  8. Maybe a version of 2015 Owen where he has his gun strapped on him? And he can have that rifle as an accessory? Different to the 2020 sets with those bombs strapped to him🤣🤣
  9. Not too bad for a start! Now lets hope they give us a TLW 30th Anniversary wave!!🤞😁 Also, 2 Velociraptor fossils? So is that one JP and one real life size? 🤣 Probably more likely to be 1 full Raptor and maybe a larger seperate scale sickle claw?
  10. RIP Sam Neill, an absolute legend, always will be our dinosaur man!
  11. Thats pretty cool! I dont think ill bother swapping my sets over cause it doesnt look too bad, and i also cant be bothered trying to put ALL of those stickers back on again🤣🤣
  12. Thats awesome! Do you get that on their website?
  13. The Triceratops Fossil is awesome and looks beautiful! Though a couple building techniques surprised me. For one, the actual base of sand/rock/water/basic lilypads are actually two halves of identical builds🤣 and also the triceratops isnt actually fully connected like the t rex one is, the legs and i guess chest plate/shoulder blades are connected to the black stands rather than the skeleton funnily enough, its hidden very well!
  14. Well i finally bought and built the jeep, its pretty damn cool looking🤣 the colour difference in the stickers isnt as bad as i thought it was going to be, though still, would've been nicer if they were all printed. And the east dock side build is a nice addition! Also, i bought it from a lego store here, and i finally decided to register a proper lego account and scan my sets in for points etc (mainly cause the possibility of a GWP), but it turns out the have a completely different system to the actual lego company, they are franchised, so theres that🤣
  15. You reckon they actually will fix that?
  16. Ahh that sucks haha, cheers for the advice! 😄 We never properly saw the inside of the cage in the movie so the lego set could show the raptors having a very sophisticated tea party, wearing monicals and tuxedos🤣🤣
  17. Well, hopefully it isnt cancelled but i get the same sense! Time will tell, though, if it does come out later and randomly, could i buy it by itself?
  18. Hopefully, im a little worried it will be revealed after i buy the jeep 🤣
  19. Tomorrows May 1st, fingers crossed our GWP gets revealed!🤞
  20. Yikes, it'll be quite desired then haha
  21. Fingers crossed!🤞 Also how long do GWP usually stay available to purchase/stay in production?
  22. Yeah, i full heartedly expect we'll finally get the Parasaurolophus next year, funnily the only prehistoric species that has appeared in every single film/show/BABR! As canon entries lol! Two rexes, baby rex, Baby Stego, Velociraptors, and hopefully Pachycephalosaurus and Compsognathus. Thats my bet!
  23. For sure! I mean, just looking at the foreseeable future, i'd bet my bottom dollar on these as the main theme: 2027 - TLW 30th Anniversary 2028 - JP8 2029-2030 - Random? 2031 - JP3 30th Anniversary I'd love for this to be the case anyways so we as collectors can properly get the sets we've all been waiting for! Original Trilogy is the dream! As for baby dinos, i wonder if there is a new person in charge of designing these, because the older baby Dinos, even Aquilops technically, look a hell of a lot better and less cartoonish than the recent Spiderman baby Dinos/Baby T-rex, i doubt they'll get remoulded soon though. And I wouldnt be surprised if we see that baby T-rex mould again next year but hopefully at least re-coloured a bit closer to Junior. Although, 1 good thing I would like to note is the box art looks very beautiful like usual! Weird to not have Minifigs on the front of the box though lol
  24. Thats what I meant lol, past years have had a main theme, whether it be for a new film, anniversary, or even a couple waves for their own Lego original shows, and of course some of those years had the odd random set, which for the record I must say are generally the ones in which people loved the most🤣 (looking at you Indo vs Anko/JP D2C'S!) But this year is the first wave where there is not an actual theme and almost every set is based from a different source! But anyways, the good thing is that it means future waves can be similar to this strategy, because I do believe majority of the sets had an amazing concept, but unfortunately not the best execution, which is exactly what you mention in your other two paragraphs and I 100% agree with everything you said in those haha. Same thing goes, I love that we finally have baby versions for T-rex, Pteranodon and Stegosaurus, but the moulds for them look quite cartoonish, and yes I am aware this is Lego and they have an aesthetic and also its targeted and children but I do wish they were slightly different. As for Spino set, im not a big fan of brick-built dinos, but I can see why they didnt want to release a moulded JP3 spino just yet, as they're probably waiting until 2031 for JP3 30th anniversary, if the theme is still alive hopefully lol. Not to mention that stupid tile, the fact it says "Lego" breaks the fourth wall for me, and I've heard someone say a perfect line, which was, this set doesnt know whether to be a playset or a diorama and it suffers from that.
