snaillad Posted October 24, 2025 Posted October 24, 2025 Hello everyone. My most recent moc is a streamlined bus depot inspired by ones constructed in the USA from the 1930's to the 1950's. I've included some typical features of the time such as a vertical tower, glass blocks window and porthole windows within the doors. I enjoy making older vehicles so I've added one here to complete the scene. As usual you can find them on my flick page here if you wish. Cheers! Andrew Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted October 24, 2025 Posted October 24, 2025 Unmistakable style and wonderful colors! I love the entrance doors and the glass-cement brick window! Quote
lifeinplastic Posted October 25, 2025 Posted October 25, 2025 I always enjoy seeing your builds @snaillad - instantly recognisable! Quote
Driver Brandon Grumman Posted October 25, 2025 Posted October 25, 2025 Now that's a modular I'd invest in. Quote
MKJoshA Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 I love that block window! Everything fits together very nicely. Great aesthetic! Quote
Murdoch17 Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 Nice work! I love everything about it (I'm a sucker for art deco anything), but the color scheme is especially gorgeous on a model such as this - very classy! Quote
hikouki Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 Love the nostalgia! Love your creations!!! Really wish instructions could be available some day to build these awesome creations!!! Quote
Jack Sassy Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 This is beautiful. The colour scheme works wonderfully. The bus makes this whole build even better. Good job! Quote
Lyichir Posted October 27, 2025 Posted October 27, 2025 Really gorgeous retro design! The SNOT curb is something I don't see in a lot of MOCs but looks really clean. Quote
Khorne Posted October 27, 2025 Posted October 27, 2025 I always love the architecture on your builds. So smooth, so retro and instantly recognizable as art deco. Quote
JopieK Posted October 27, 2025 Posted October 27, 2025 Great one @snaillad. Art deco is very cool indeed! Works very well in LEGO bricks. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted October 27, 2025 Posted October 27, 2025 Simply beautiful. It's another signature MOC for @snaillad. The curved parts, colors scheme and details all around make this an eye-candy. Quote

Thanks @hikouki if only they could be retrospectively created, sadly I'm no good with a digital designer so its all old fashioned trial and error for me! Quote

LL1982 Posted November 3, 2025 Posted November 3, 2025 Looks great. The style is awesome, love that era. Love the colours also, had no clue lego made so many pieces in this dark blue colour. Quote
