I ment that too. Considering spur version has less friction than bevel version on parallel connection, I think if use spur type on those middle gear, friction will be decrease and propeller will spin more freely. And need to remind those spur version is still least x2 more expensive than bevel version currently. Price will decrease if spur version is included on this set. Zerobricks Posted Friday at 04:27 PM Posted Friday at 04:27 PM It's really cute! Too bad there's no mirrored version of the prop. Quote
Jundis Posted Friday at 04:46 PM Posted Friday at 04:46 PM Really cool little set! Perfect usage of the parts. @msk6003Â Totally agreed. Would at least swap the 20T in tan for the dark azure version of the spur gear. Quote

The props will still stop spinning almost immediately. The combined friction in the drivetrain (axles, bushes, 90 degree bevels) is going to be much greater than the friction in the 20z/16z pair. They fit exactly. This set will be a nice parts pack for white connectors that could be considered rare. And I can confirm that there is little momentum in the drivetrain. Thus propellers will stop immediately if you do not turn the gear. Â (Unfortunately I cannot show picture as upload to Brickshelf does not work since a few days.) The lineup of the whole year is mostly revealed. The only notable mystery is the next 1:8 car, assuming there will be another one, and the flagship, also assuming there will be one. There was no proper flagship in 2021, and the biggest set in 2024 (not counting the 1:8 car) is the MB G77, which may not be considered a proper flagship. Quote

I'd like to contradict myself: This gear would be better for the looks and easier on the finger to operate then the spur gear: Quote

Maaboo the Witch Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Hard to believe that this is the 20- and 10-year anniversary of 2006 and 2016, two of the most seminal years for Technic. Obviously I'll reserve judgement until the rest of the set numbers are known, but I think it's safe to say that this theme has fallen a long, long way. Quote
