42143 - Ferrari Daytona SP3
Chili replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@CastAStone@JesseNightThanks for the information. I actually hoping the Daytona SP3 might get a retirement extension to 31 December, similar to the 42115 Sián, as I was planning to wait for Black Friday discounts. In that case, looks like I’ll have to keep an eye on the mid-year sales instead. If I can’t get it at a decent discount, I may just pass on this set and save the budget for something else. -
42143 - Ferrari Daytona SP3

Hello everyone, when will this Ferrari Daytona SP3 (42143) set retire? I found some webpage said that it will be retire on July 31, 2026 and now Lego adds it to the "Retiring Soon" section of their website. But this is 1/8 flagship super car will it be the same as the 42115 Lamborghini Sian, The LEGO Group postponed its discontinuation date to end of this year ? -
Yes the official colour of Sadair's Spear is Dark Brown, Koenigsegg's primary signature colour is orange from CCR. However, following the convention of LEGO 1/8 Supercar, 42056 Porsche GT3 RS have taken Orange and 42172 McLaren P1 is Bright Light Orange. Other than brown and orange colour, White or Silver Grey might appear in 42232 based on previous special/limited edition Koenigsegg Agera RS, One:1, CCXR, Regera, Jesko Attack and CC850

It's unlikely that the Dodge Viper and Ford Mustang will be the 2026 1:8 scale supercar. This is because 42232 hasn't yet announced whether it will be a 1:8 supercar or a 1:5 bike as 18+ set. So far, the 1:8 supercars from European countries and it is “Hypercars” I'm guessing will be Keonigsegg, Pagani, and Aston Martin. If the Viper and Mustang are to meet the requirements of a 1:8 supercar, the Viper needs at least a Viper ACR and the Mustang needs a GTD to barely meet the requirements of a 1:8 car.
