I actually hoping the Daytona SP3 might get a retirement extension to 31 December, similar to the 42115 Sián, as I was planning to wait for Black Friday discounts. In that case, looks like I’ll have to keep an eye on the mid-year sales instead. If I can’t get it at a decent discount, I may just pass on this set and save the budget for something else.

But this is 1/8 flagship super car will it be the same as the 42115 Lamborghini Sian, The LEGO Group postponed its discontinuation date to end of this year ?

It's unlikely that the Dodge Viper and Ford Mustang will be the 2026 1:8 scale supercar. This is because 42232 hasn't yet announced whether it will be a 1:8 supercar or a 1:5 bike as 18+ set. So far, the 1:8 supercars from European countries and it is “Hypercars” I'm guessing will be Keonigsegg, Pagani, and Aston Martin. If the Viper and Mustang are to meet the requirements of a 1:8 supercar, the Viper needs at least a Viper ACR and the Mustang needs a GTD to barely meet the requirements of a 1:8 car.
