Shiva Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Ain't the Mutadon a failed, dead, experiment? 32-33seconds in the video? Quote

Black Falcon Posted May 21 Posted May 21 I wonder if none of the mutants sold that well that Lego isn´t doing Sets with any of those. At least I wouldn´t be interested in either of them, actually not even interested in the Titanosaurus because it looks just too ugly with the bulge on the head. The trailer looks like they are doing the same mistake they made with the hybrids now with mutant dinosaurs. I still will watch it sooner or later, but not really hyped about the movie or anything. Lion King Posted May 21 Posted May 21 To be frank, I would be gald if Lego is not making mutant dinosaurs for sets. Quote
AxolotlPlays Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Just picked up the buildable aquilops set! Lucky early find for me lol Quote
Dinobricks Posted May 31 Posted May 31 In the unlikely event of a D rex Lego set, it will be revealed tomorrow as that is when the D rex embargo ends. Quote
AxolotlPlays Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Unfortunately i dont think that is the case, very strange for Lego to leave it out, but maybe we'll get it later! Quote
AxolotlPlays Posted June 4 Posted June 4 The new sets are cool, especially the big Spino/Quetz temple set, it is really fun to build and the little boobytrap play feature is quite fun lol! And i noticed on the sides of the boxes they have land/sea/air squares, which are highlighted for which species are in the sets! Its cool to see that around the promotional stuff for this film 😁 Although i think it was the mosa set i was building, the instructions are a bit weird at the top, instead of saying a pieceX2 there would be 2 images of that piece, still works fine just thought it was pretty funny throughout that instruction booklet lol 🤣 Quote

I mean imagine an art mosaic set doing that or worse still the ship in a bottle set . Quote

Honestly, I had no idea about this aswell, but when you think about is it just makes a lot sense, since not every child in pre-school age can actually already read numbers. Quote
Time Dragon Posted June 10 Posted June 10 It would be nice if the baby aquilops came in another cheeper set. Quote
Time Dragon Posted June 10 Posted June 10 6 minutes ago, Shiva said: 76972, should be quite cheap. I know, but if I get all the sets with new dinos I'll have two of the new raptors not to mention a in my opinion an inferior quetzal. Quote
Shiva Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Ahh, quetzalcoatlus. 76972, is the most interesting set, if regarding vehicles, of all. Quote
FinlayTheFaithful Posted June 11 Posted June 11 It's 100% ending up in a magazine at some point Quote

I found that baby Aqueitops off eBay and it’s only $5-sih, along with new Velociraptor mold, Douglas $11. Not exaclty cheap but I’m glad i don’t need to buy a whole set. Meanwhile, I will continue hunting for Spinosaurus, Titanosaurus and Quetacoatlus. The one from belgium that I believe sold, it was like 12 or 13 bucks with shipping to where I live, I might have considered it if it was closer to just 5 to 8 with shipping. But thanks for remembering me. Quote

But thanks for remembering me. Yeah, sometimes those sellers are kinda greedy when it comes to selling Lego pieces. For example, last year, I bought both Stegosaurus and Allosaurus and they were like $45 - 50 each. I’m not looking for the secondary market prices on Spinosaurus, Titanosaurus and/or Queztacoatlus but oh well…. I might try Bricklink Quote
Time Dragon Posted June 22 Posted June 22 So I feel like this is a dumb question but are we sure the new raptor molds aren't supposed to be mutodons or whatever I've heard the raptor creature with wings called? Quote

There's a new clip with a raptor and mutadon fighting, so the new mold should be for the raptor. But I also thought the same at first, as it's very weird that they didn't show the Raptors for this long. Quote

The new piece has no wings, looks exactly like a velociraptor, and is named as such on the packaging Quote
