Time Dragon Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Has the mutant been revealed in any toy other then the "polly pocket" style one. Quote

The Smyths toys french website showcased what the mutant looks like and also its real name, surprisingly, it's actually got a pretty natural color scheme instead of the dull gray everyone thought it would have Quote

The person that made it never tried to make it seem real, it was a just a concept he made for fun. 27 minutes ago, Time Dragon said: Has the mutant been revealed in any toy other then the "polly pocket" style one. I've got a screenshot of the leaked toy but it is a big spoiler, just say if you want to see it. Edited May 1 by Dinobricks Quote

Lion King Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I have a curious quesiton for you. If Jurasic World is replaced with in-house theme, would you be able to order dinosaur pieces off PAB, rather than eBay or BrickLink? On the other hands, dinosaur molds on PAB could be expsnive but i would like to hear your opinions here! Quote
FinlayTheFaithful Posted May 8 Posted May 8 The theme has been around since 2015 with atleast one wave every year since 2018, I doubt they'll replace it anytime soon, especially given how in-house themes nowadays are treated since Ninjago became a massive hit Quote

If there is a dinosaur-centered in-house theme and those dinosaur molds woud show up on PAB, would you be happy to get it off PAB instead of eBay and Bricklink. Dinosaur molds never shows up on PAB. It makes me wonder how much dinosaur molds would cost on PAB and would they be better than secondary market. Idk. Quote

I think especially the big dinosaurs consisting out of several parts would be pretty expensive so for most dinosaurs it wouldn´t be worth it considering that you can buy sets with a discount and most people could still use the parts included for something else even if they only care about the dinosaurs (and if not you can still sell the rest of the set). Also, you can actually check on PAB what some bigger animal/dragon and even dinosaurus parts cost. All 4 legs of the Spinosaurus are listed there for instance (though out of stock) and you would have to pay 12,64€ for just the legs of the spino, and the body would surely be way more expensive, especially since the legs aren´t even printed. You can also get Pteranodon Wings for 2,18€/2,19€ per Wing or the beak for 1,84€. Quote

I guess most of people only care about dinosaurs. I have no interest in buying the whole sets. I feel sellers are kinda driven by avarice in secondary market, although they add value to the price. Such as taking care of dinosaur molds very good. Yeah, I think you are right that dinosaur molds might be more expsnive in PAB other than small / mid-sized creatures. For example, T-rex is made out of 8 parts (head, jaw, body, two arms, two legs, tail). It might be over $20. I would acutally to see whole dinosaur mold on PAB rather than just legs so we would know the actual price. Quote

Well, you can still compare them with other Lego animals, like the cow, orca - or Ryu from Ninjago, which costs 8,64€, so I would say a dinosaur without movable legs and arms like a raptor would be around 10€ still. No. If there was a set, retailers would have listed it ages ago and leakers would’ve known about it too. Maybe next year, even though follow-up sets have not been done before for any of the movies Quote

It is unlikely but not impossible. Retailer exclusives exist and even the most reliable leakers aren't infallible (cough death star playset is a star destroyer, cough UT-AT is a turbo tank, Cough no Garmadon in the dragon stone shrine, cough Ninjago city Workshops not the crossroads, Cough and so on) Quote
FinlayTheFaithful Posted May 18 Posted May 18 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hd82OiSa4IE Y'all reckon this is what they should have done for the new raptor mold? Quote
