Actually, no, it'll be the first CMF in which none of the characters have leg printing, I just got the news today.

Happy to see Arkham is on a baseplate, just sad no Zsaz,Pyg or Azrael, I would like a new Deathstroke but I'm thankful we're getting 16 figures,  I would have expected 9, shame no Nightwing,Red Hood or Gordon though, I hope Bane is not in  a jumpsuit, I would like to see a sewer underneath Arkham for Croc to be in

Jumpsuits: Joker, Harley, penguin, bane, killer croc and scarecrow 

not in: Catwoman, Riddler, Freeze and Ivy

Also the suits have leg printing so that’s something 😂 

Was hoping Bane and Scarecrow would be normal. But hopefully at least some will pop-up in some sets

In other news: apparently Robin is Damian and he will have this suit: 

Let me ask you this my fellow inmates? Why would Lego purposefully deviate from the iconic red and green outfit? To create differentiation from another upcoming minifigure? Tim incoming? (Yes, this is copium)

Good choice for Robin, glad to get a new suit like this. Pleasantly surprised that Poison Ivy isn't wearing a jumpsuit, same for Riddler. Disappointed that Bane, Croc and Scarecrow do.

Because lego unironically hates us and is giving us the worst robin in a suit we can't use for any others. It's the same reason we have Batwoman and Batwing instead of, like, Nightwing and Red Hood, or Spoiler and Signal or something.

(In all seriousness I assume it's either the designers recognizing that the only people buying this are diehards who likely already have a robin, and wanted to provide something new, or it's because they just googled "robin current comic suit 202_" and used the first result)

This is surprisingly better than I expected. I assume Freeze is a repeat, but that's still three new villain costumes.

The jumpsuit having leg printing makes sense to me. With one new leg print you can have leg printing on 6 new characters. I hope there's at least 2 torso designs, ideally a third for Bane and Croc- Harley Quinn, Joker, and Bane share wildly different body types. But I assume they'll pull an F4 "Human male=human female=guy made of rocks" and it'll be one print used on all of them.

Honestly, given I'm not going to drop hundreds of dollars just to get a robin, sure, I don't really care that it's a less iconic variant instead of the classic red and green. I got lucky enough to find the one from the deathstroke set in a bulk lot, and it might be my favorite robin design they've done, so I'm personally just fine robin-wise. But still. Lego. Kids should be able to get ahold of Robin.

Sounds pretty good actually. Glad Ivy isn't jumpsuited up! Hoping we get the green skin!

Probably not gonna happen but I hope killer cric has a unique jumpsuit, like shirtless with the arms tied around his waist or something. He's the only character in this set that I don't have any version of so it'd be nice if he's not just a headprint on a generic torso and legs.

It's interesting that (among others obviously) Bane, Scarecrow, and Croc specifically have the jumpsuits. I wonder if they'll have designs inspired by the Arkham Asylum game where they had prison suits modified to look more like their traditional outfits? (I mean. They probably won't. But we can dream, right?)

 

Catwoman in (presumably) her normal suit is cool though, I hope they bring back that cowl piece they introduced in The Lego Batman Movie and don't just reuse the Black Panther ears again

Clay_Bricks has mentioned over on the legoleak subreddit that "All jumpsuits are identical." I think that also subtly deconfirms Bane or Croc being bigfigs.

The jumpsuits being identical is disappointing- it's an exact repeat of the F4 set issue where lego decides that human men, women, and irrevocably cursed men with armored skin all have the same body type. Like it's one thing for lego to cut costs by removing the male/female body type- it's dumb, but at least you can just headcanon that "oh, they're just really loose-fit", but then you're gonna tell me that Harley or Joker's outfits fit the same as Killer Croc?

Cos they already did that so many times and this is from one of damian's best comics

If you want a tim, I don't know he's probably on bricklink and that version of him was pretty good

Intrigued by the new Damian-Robin outfit, it looks nice and I hope LEGO makes an accurate representation!

I get that it’s fantasy at the end of the day, and that there’s no logic, but I do love the thought of Arkham guards being like “alright Scarecrow, you gotta wear the orange jumpsuit, but you can keep wearing the mask.”

I saw a theory on the Lego leak subreddit that the set comes with half a dozen jumpsuits and the villains in their respective outfits, so you can mix and match what villains you want in jumpsuits. I know this probably won't happen and only will in the best case scenario, but explains why the same source says poison ivy was originally in a jumpsuit but now is not, as they could have seen 2 separate pictures of the set.
