If you're believing that (Torsos are different by the way, but even if they weren't I think the same guy finding both with no leakers corroborating is more of a point in the fake column) I have a bridge tower of fate in Brooklyn to sell you But I mean seriously c'mon guys can we write him off now? He's not even trying to be realistic it's like he's seeing how far he can go while people still believe in him. What's the justification for 3 different torso prints (IIRC one of which he later admitted was fake)? Three superman sets with wasted prints? The first two were fake but he pinky promised this one was real because his uncle works at lego? Edited March 20 by Mandalorianknight Quote

Rwbricks Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I didn’t expect this new film to be adapting “Three Jokers” but with Superman, but what can I say? I do find it amusing that all of the torsos are still on their page. Maybe their plan is to post an infinite amount of variations, and then when LEGO does make an official minifigure, they can point to one and claim they were right all along? Quote

BatDeanj Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Just had a thought the 66 Batcave had 9 exclusive mini figures, a few even had leg printing and duel moulds. I know this was 9 years ago and inflation ect but that does mean Lego can easily make 9 new ones for Arkham especially for double the price. I imagine the only reused parts will be batman cowl + head + cape, joker head + hair, two face head, mr freeze head and torso. I expect we will get 10 named characters and the rest will be unnamed guards/doctors. I also expect 1 purist figure like warned sharp or Jim Gordon (like max shrek and professor x). It was around March 2023 we found out lots of info about the shadow box. The movie it was based on and it being "enclosed" by rocks. so I'm hoping we get more info soon like if its modular and hopefully a minifigure list. Already have my purist officer balls ready. Quote

I don't think so. I've talked about this before but I think we vastly underestimate the difference between the 2010s and 2020s for LEGO. First, they do so many sets for new licenses that require so many new figures I think a big reason why across most every licensed theme figures from the 2010s look more detailed, with more unique prints is they had more budget per theme and second it used to be these sets used to be part of much larger themes which helped support these sets by both giving sets themes a stronger in built audience and being able to spread budget for prints across waves. We will, at best, get half as many prints s the 60s batcave Quote

If you value your sanity, drastically lower your expectations. Quote

Of the 9 exclusive minifigures, only 8 were actually had exclusive prints. And 2 of those only had an exclusive torso print. In total, we got 8 new torsos, 5 new heads, and 3 new legs. The X-Mansion from last year, just to compare had 6 new torsos, 5 new heads, and 4 new legs. So the Batcave was comparable to the X-Men Mansion and the only reason it has so many new figures is because they really stretched the budget. Which maybe Lego will do again, I dunno. They certainly haven’t shown much love to this theme lately. IMO, I think we could be looking at 5-7 exclusive minifigures with Batman, Joker, and Mr Freeze at the very least being recycled from other sets. But that’s a best case scenario. Quote
BatDeanj Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I’m just so excited for the set it’s the set I’ve wanted for so long. I was debating doing a moc of one or using the instructions on rebrickable before the rumour All I hope is that it’s a full building with a closed back like all the marvel Modular’s Looks dark and gothic and better than the 2012 one which it will be replacing have some interior rooms you can set up a scene like Harleen interviewing joker. Prisoners escaping or a mess hall for villains to be posed not in cells. At least 1 new character like mad hatter, ventriloquist or zassz. Hope to get a green skinned ivy too with the rumoured 2900 piece count I hope there will be expansion Mocs to make it bigger like the x mansion. im also wondering if I can make the botanical garden work as part of it but we shall wait and see. psqidexslizer Posted April 1 Posted April 1 So I bought this Lex Luthor 2025 minifigure from my wife’s boyfriend who regularly robs the local Lego factory. I was skeptical at first, but now that I have it in hand I can confirm it’s genuine Lego printing and possibly the best $500 I’ve ever spent. Looks like we all owe wakebricks an apology. Superman 2025 sets, here we go! Quote

psqidexslizer Posted April 3 Posted April 3 More Superman footage out there. Not much more, but it does give us a new look at the Fortress of Solitude. Really disappointed by Lego’s decision to sit this one out. Quote

Really disappointed by Lego’s decision to sit this one out. I like it. The All Star Superman inspiration really shows with the robots. I am also enjoying watching the Snyder cult having a meltdown over every piece of news releasing. One guy really thought he was making a valid criticism of Gunn when he criticised a description of Guy Gardner which said that he was chosen by the ring for being fearless instead of willpower. (He then started calling the “(insert name) you have the ability to overcome great fear” panels posted in the comments fake and “woke Gunn propaganda”) It’s both concerning and hilarious. I never hated the Snyderverse, but I do dislike the Snyder cult Seeing them crumble is very satisfying after the torture they subjected us to with the annoying Snydercut campaign. Or should I say, campain! Still, sucks to live in a world where the DCEU got quite a few sets while it‘s still unclear if we will ever see anything based on the DCU. Quote

Nah, Lego has done small playsets that feature only a small piece of a much larger building. The Sanctum Sanctorum sets from the first Dr Strange and No Way Home and the Fortress of Solitude from The Lego Batman Movie being perfect examples of that. Not that I wouldn’t prefer a giant Fortress of Solitude, mind you. 5 minutes ago, BrickBob Studpants said: Good. Yeah, as someone who liked MoS and BvS, I could never stand his die-hard fanatics who kept harping on about how those films were “cinematic masterpieces” and “too big for small minds.” And the whole campaign to release his JL was riddled with so many toxic @$$holes, it was ridiculous. But, with that said, I’d much rather focus on the new universe and my excitement for it and give those people the attention they deserve - none. I agree it’s disappointing to not get any new sets for Superman. Surprising too, since I would have thought Lego would be willing to take the risk with at least one set. Quote
