I was expecting it to be after the merge but before the ninja regrouped and found Arin and Sora, in the time when Kai and Lloyd where searching the Merged realms. Wu is just there for set reasons, like how he was in the race against time bounty.

Some of the June sets have already leaked—Lloyd's Jet Mech and the new Destiny's Bounty, but also the two sets based on the new series titled Ninjago Legends, Fire Knight Mech and the Guardian Dragon

New Source(?) Dragon looks amazing! The diorama stand adds so much to this build and new Wu is always nice to see.

Fire Mech looks great as well but Cole’s mech from 2024 looks a bit better in comparison.

Lloyd’s mech jet looks like a great addition to Dragons Rising line and exclusive Kur minifig is only available here. So it’s a must buy.

And new Bounty might just be even better that Movie version. The only weak part of the set is lack of unique minifigs. This set probably should have included more Forbidden Five members to make it a better deal.

Knight mech looks really great, tempted to buy it not even for ninjago specifically but just because it looks like such a great display piece with the flowing cape and how it's posed to attach the sea monster. Wouldn't mind seeing more out of that subline.

It would be cool to see future Legends entries use either the original designs or more abstract/"adult" designs for the ninja. It's a little weird to see a set like the knight mech being piloted by the goofy post-movie Kai design.

The posing for the green dragon and the box art for the red mech remind me of the posing and box art on some Sluban mechs.

The transforming green jet is pretty cool, but it's not as convincing in jet form as I'd like it to be. It still basically looks like a big robot with rocket boots.

I wasn't interested in the idea of a rumored Dark Bounty like the Dark Fountain, but the Temple Bounty that we're actually getting is very impressive. I hope I can buy it for myself sometime.

Holy moly... While I like to see proper high Def images before I make any judgements these are looking pretty next level. Maybe that Batcave tiring into an £100 Batmobile was a good thing, I can use more of more Lego budget here!

Well I got Kur's weapon wrong. But I am interested to see why that bone dragon combines with Thunderfang. Also Sora appears to finally have a new outfit since she's lacking a gold arm.

Do agree the Bounty should have had all Forbidden Five. (Though what is that weapon Cole is holding)

Lastly. Would we count Kai's Fire Knight Mech as his actual Titan Mech? It may not have White in the colorscheme. but Nya's Samurai X mech somewhat fits with the other 4 Titan Mechs

Woah, these all look really good. The Legends dragon is amazing, I'm completely sold already. Fire Knight Mech looks great too. The Bounty is excellent, I want to see more but I think it's at worst the second best they've ever done. The mech jet is the only one I'm not 100% on, the jet looks good but the mech looks a bit chunky for my liking. Definitely need higher res pictures though before I can really judge that. Overall though this wave looks really good so far. If the rest of this one is up to this level of quality, this is easily going to be one of the most impressive Ninjago waves ever.

I think all of the sets look really solid, but there are some problems that I've got with them. Also that does confirm that the descriptions that we got are for the final sets, and there definitely won't be any changes to the final sets.

Lloyd's transforming mech jet - this definitely is my favorite set here, my two main interests are Ninjago and Transformers, so this is perfect for me. I also really love the small bone dragon, it's neat on it's own, but the fact that it combines with Thundefang is even better. This set is definitely a must have for me now,  even without Kur being exclusive here.

Temple Bounty - this was one of the sets that I was the most looking forward to, but I have too say that personally I'm not that into it. The overall design just feels quite boring with that color scheme, and some parts of the build. What's great about it is the size, since it really feels massive for the $200. But with that being said there would be problems with finding space for something this big. The minifigures also aren't too interesting(even with the exclusive Zane and Nya) 6 minifigures feels really weak, especially with that Wyldfyre that's been in like 4 set waves already. Maybe if we get more images I'd be more of a fan of this bounty.

The 2 sets for ninjago legends look absolutely stunning, I'm more of a fan of how the Fire knight mech display looks, but $120 feels like too much for what you get.

I believe that this is the reveal blade from the descriptions. It most likely works like the magnifying glass from the 3rd wave of Alpha Team, so the banners would have a lot of red on them, which disappears when you use the transparent red blade.

That's exactly my thoughts. The SW, Marvel, and DC themes are all disappointing me this year, and then ninjago drops what may be the hardest ninjago set of all time with that mech.

Props to the boxart division too- it looks great enough in the actual photos, but the boxart takes it to the next level.

After all these years… Lloyd finally has a jet.

What is Legends? Because Kai’s mech is fire.

A Seeker, too. Kind of Brutal that Lloyd cut off it's head to turn it into a mech, though.

I know! It'll be the first ninjago set bigger than a battlepack that I'll have bought since 2015, when I was a kid. I think I might rework the weapon and head to make it Tahu from bionicle, but either way it looks incredible.

The price is the only thing keeping me on the fence about it. Wasn't the Dragon Stone Shrine, a previous attempt at an older ninjago market, $120, and it ended up at costco for like $60 (though never around me :cry_sad:)?

It probably will be the first full scale ninjago set I've bought in a decade, but it might be a wait for a sale kind of set.

Yeah the shrine goes on sale a lot it seems, I swear Amazon has had it for $70-$80 for like six months now (speaking of which, I really should grab that soon).

Ya, it's pretty much what we expected I guess. That gimmick was also used more recently in the City 2019 Deep Space Rocket on the little robot buggy guy with the trans-red scanner that you position over the stickered tile on the little section of terrain. Pretty good way of making what will inevitably be a magical property of an artefact in the show into an actual play feature.

Is there a more specific release date for the summer sets? I don’t know if a few will release in August or June

June 1st. All of them.

(They could release on August 1st in some territories though, like the US.)

That’s my main question unfortunately, I live in the US and I don’t know if if they release the bigger sets in June and the rest in August like last year

I like the general look of these. Both Legends sets are super detailed and clearly designed to be a higher-quality product. The dragon is a little too humanoid for my liking, so I’m curious to see it from different angles. I also wonder if both are designed to be able to be removed from their stands or if they’re stuck in place. If they can’t be removed, then I definitely won’t consider the Fire Knight Mech to be Kai’s Titan mech. I’m still holding out some hope for one that matches the color scheme of the rest.

The new bounty is also really cool. I like that it’s clearly still the same ship but is fairly unique among previous iterations. It is pricey though, so we’ll see if it ends up on my list.

Lloyd’s jet/mech isn’t my cup of tea. The jet looks too much like it has two legs sticking out of it (because it does). I am a fan of the tiny skeleton dragon though. Maybe I’ll part out that model separately.

Excited to see what else is in store, but looks like we’ve been spoiled already with some of the nicest/biggest sets leaking early.

As a whole, these sets look phenomenal and are a credit to Ninjago’s ability to produce fresh and exciting sets 15 years into the theme. Licensed themes could learn a lot from this.

I have to admit I’m not completely enthused about the Bounty from that initial image, however I’ll wait for more pictures before making a decision. It still looks excellent, perhaps my expectations were too high.

Also, seeing amazing box art like that of the Fire Knight Mech will always trump bland 18+ boxes any day of the week. There’s so much soul to it.

That is unfortunately cover art it isn’t the final product you can see it on the bottom left side of the box

It's slightly too blurry to read in my copy of the image, but I think I remember somebody saying somewhere that the yellow text in the bottom left says something about it being preliminary, or at least not finalised, so it might change. Hopefully this image is at least mostly the same as what it'll end up being though, because yeah, this is 1000000x better than the usual "mature" boxes.

Edit: previous post popped up as soon as I posted my one lmao

The fire knight mech head looks a little ugly for me in the actual picture and the one in the box art in a prototype

maybe if we get slightly better camera quality I may get invested

That's not what it says though? The text says "illustrated cover art treatment", basically acknowledging the fact that there's some work done with the lighting, shading, etc. That's my biggest thing with the set, the box art looks phenomenal, but the irl picture doesn't look that good, and it has me wondering which is closer to how it feels in hand...

Yeah I got my copy straight from Rednote when the sets first leaked, it says "Illustrated cover art treatment". I really like the direction these sets are going in, but Im still cautiously optimistic and waiting for better pictures (gonna be waiting for a longggggg time though). Huge fan of the mech jet and the dragon, the fire knight mech im half and half on and the bounty is more like 40/60. Not really a fan of the lack of engines and flight bits and bobs, as to me thats what defines a bounty, having the ability to fly. Thats why I have my steaming hot opinion that the ninjago movie bounty isnt a bounty. It's a really, really nice ship, and an awesome set, but it just doesnt bring the flight and so it's really just an ornate ship with the bounty name slapped on it. Obviously theres exceptions like the offshoot bounties (hydro, land, wing) but those are clearly something else. Thats my current opinion on the new bounty. Really nice ship, but not really a bounty. Hopefully it has some interesting mechanisms.

IDK I just like flying ships, and this one so far doesnt look like it can fly.

Seconded; I do appreciate that they're doing another one that looks more realistic, with less eclectic colours (like the movie bounty, as opposed to the DRs1 bounty), but I feel like they could have struck a better balance between the movie bounty and what the bounty represents in the show, e.g. it definitely should have had the folding horizontal flight sails rather than the vertical trimast sails that they literally had to modify to turn into normal bounty sails when they brought the movie one into the show for season 8. Like, is this one also going to be inaccurate to the show (but without a movie that it's actually based on to justify that like the movie bounty), or will it actually just not have iconic bounty sails??
