Historically American newspapers charged advertisers by the letter. This is why in the US they spell 'Colour' as Color and is also the reason for many such shortenings of word spellings. Perhaps this is a case of the opposite where the set naming team gets paid by the letter.

I had assumed they'd known pretty much since the start and were just keeping him around because aside from being an alt account he wasn't doing anything wrong, but it doesn't look like he said or did anything in his final posts that was ban worthy or even particularly telling that it was turtle, so I guess it just took them awhile to figure it out.

While this is true, Rancors don't have much experience with turtles either. I could see him going unrecognized and just getting "hey, stop posting vaguely related videos here" at first.

Shifting which themes he was into was a nice touch, kept him around longer. I guess his best bet is heading to the pirates or technic forum as technic doesn't have much member crossover and pirates is kind of it's own thing.

What truly defines Soup’s mech: the man, the suit, the mech, or the dish? If one of these four ingredients are swapped out while the others remain exactly the same, when does Soup’s mech cease to be?

If Soup is infected with a zombie virus or converted to an intergalactic space faction founded on conquest of the Omni-verse and the total obliteration of the Federation, does the suit or mech change as well?

Since Soup’s mech outweighs the minifigure by every review’s metric for value, does that mean Soup is more machine than man, or is Soup a culinary delight? What does ABS plastic taste like?

How in the wide world of American baseball does Soup pilot his mech? Does Soup need a spoon to drive his concoction? If Soup in Soup’s mech is eating soup, is that inception or cannibalism?

It's a symbiotic relationship between all four- Fantastic. No- it's sort of a ship of Theseus thing once we get to most or all components being swapped, but if it's just one he's pretty much fine.

It depends on the type of virus. A computer virus might only zombify the mech, whereas an organic virus could zombify only the man, and obviously Soup can only be impacted by it's expiration date.

I'd say somewhat differently. 100 jonklers would best a gorilla as would 100 jokers. Most of the joker casualties would be joker on joker. I pitty the poor gorilla subjected to them. Grod can hopefully slip in before the fight and get the gorilla into gorilla witness protection.

Leto joker would died instantly the other jokers wouldn't even realise he's supposed to be a fellow joker and would target him first before going joker on joker, and again the poor gorilla is an innocent victim who has no chance of survival and frankly doesn't yearn for this life of hypothetical death matches.

Given that 100 men vs 1 gorilla is an unequivocable win for the men- I think the real debate is between 10 and 20 men- 100 jonklers, who in most universes are shown to be significantly stronger than the average men, are no question. You're immediately replacing the 100 average men with 100 men who have-

-significant combat experience

-extremely high pain tolerance

-no squeamishness with things like the bone tools win condition

-no fear of the gorilla

 

They also win in a lego sense, given we've probably had around 100 sets/polybags/etc containing joker figures, but only one Grodd.

Unequivocally, if they're men as in the plural of man. If they're normal men- depends on the jonkler. Ledger has a solid chance walking out of there with all 100 men on his side. Leto is immediately beaten to death. Nicholson probably dies ~1-2 men in- more if he's armed and they aren't- same with Pheonix. Ramero is crowned the Surf King of the gorilla arena.

I gotta disagree on Phoenix. In any set of 100 men, there’s bound to be some gamers. All he has to do is say the word and they’ll be on his side.

Ignoring Joker’s ability to manipulate people, arguably his greatest advantage in any fight, defeats the whole point of pinning him against people. At that point, you’re just asking if one normal guy dressed as a clown could defeat 100 other normal guys.

I see that but it's kinda irrelevant in this set up right? It's a death battle the men will instantly charge him, given the numbers I don't know if he gets out full a sentence before his being throttled. Even if he could what's he got to work off? He's got no power in the situation and I imagine in a death battle scenario they don't leave until the other sides dead right? There's nothing to play off unless the men are all stupid. I think Mr Jokes gets twatted no matter what.

This is true, but the gamers rising up is not Pheonix-specific. That was a big Ledger-era thing, and Leto's is the one where we have actual official audio of him saying "We live in a society". I think Pheonix doesn't get any gamers simply because he probably wouldn't try to get them on his side- he's just some guy at the end of the day. He probably sees the men charging and either shoots as many as he can before being beaten to death or just gives up.

Uh, no, this is wrong, because I've mentally blocked Joker 2's existence from my brain. There is one good joker movie, they never made a sequel. Same goes for Pacific Rim. Just like how Avatar the last Airbender is a great cartoon with no live action adaptions.

I think ledger joker could absolutely get at least some number of the men on his side even if they knew going in only one side or the other was making it out. I wouldn't rule it out that he somehow manages to break the scenario and leave WITH some of the men. I don't think any others are able to convince enough allies to turn the tide, though.
