Nah. Arkham Asylum is obviously included in the Tower of Fate.

I didn’t want to be the one to say it, but I think Arkham’s cancellation is incredibly racist. Think about it. The set was likely going to include The Joker, a character who is best known for his time serving as the US Ambassador for Iran.

So why is Lego cancelling a set with an proud Iranian ambassador? Do they have a problem with the Iranian people? Sounds racist to me.

At this point the 2026 DC D2C is legitimately just going to be the tower of fate (it's microscale and only comes with Batman and Magic Jonkler)

I think you're on to something, we should start harassing lego's social media accounts demanding Arkham be released with an exclusive "Joker, Iranian Ambassador" GWP. Scratch that, every figure in the set should be replaced by Joker, Ambassador to Iran. (This strategy worked for the 501st guys)

I still can't get over that that was joker's actual plan to get away with killing robin. Diplomatic Immunity. It's like Dr. Doom in the 2012 era spider-man cartoon.

You know what guys... I like your US Ambassador of Iran, Joker idea. But I think that it could work better as a buildable figure. Make it a huge D2C, it's gonna sell super well.

That way, the Arkham Asylum could be a GWP instead. Who even needs a 400€ prison / psychiatric hospital building? Sounds boring to me, waste of good pieces and shelve space.

I'm sure there were people being too aggressive, I was pretty much just peripherally aware that something was happening up until it actually got announced, but when the cast and director are part of the campaign and the studio's claiming it doesn't even exist, I think the campaign's at least slightly more justified than yelling at a kid's toy brand because they haven't released a very specific kid's toy that the yellers want. It's the internet though so I'm sure people went too far.

I agree that some take it too far but, what WB did to Zack and the actors was terrible, studio interference, firing, The Batman with Batfleck fighting Deathstroke was going to be cool, there was leaked plot details, DCEU might have had a chance if WB let Zack do his thing and didn't cut BvS

The Ayer cut is far different from the studio cut, there's a reason the trailers felt different compared to the movie we got, it's the tone

Death in the Family is so funny, it's not even a remotely good story but is one that'll forever be gassed up just because of the death of Jason. I guarantee you most people who commend that story as one of the greats don't remember it or never read it, barely anyone remembers all the drama with Jason's mum, no-one ever brings up the Joker becoming the UN ambassador for Iran.

Implying the Joker becoming the UN Ambassador for Iran isn't what makes the story one of the greats, as opposed to something lame like a robin dying.

Robin dying was so inconsequential to the story they were trying to tell that the writers literally left it up to the fans to decide what would happen via phone voting.

Right? The fact that it allegedly came down to one guy rigging the system too makes it all the funnier, if not for one guy it'd just be a story where Joker fails to kill Robin then becomes the Iranian ambassador, like that's pretty much just a silver age story without the charm

I wonder how that guy feels knowing that when he set out to kill Jason Todd because he hated him so much he instead ended up forever immortalizing him as the Robin who got brutally murdered.

He's either annoyed people are still talking about him or happy it's become the defining feature of the character.

This whole forum style change is messing with my head, but I like that we can see top posters, and I love that OG Turtle apparently has the most posts on this thread despite the fact that he's been banned for forever and it doesn't even count his riddlerDC posts.

Speaking of annoying UI changes… I rate this above Bricklink’s, but that’s as much of an accomplishment as the Rise of Skywalker being better than Attack of the Clones.

I do hate that my email notifications are reset. I was beginning to panic that Thanos had snapped away everyone but me. (Which I’m unsure if that would be a compliment that he finds me useful or an insult that I wouldn’t be strong enough to defeat him.)
