Please. These people will cower in fear the moment the news of the death breaks, because they know how any power vacuum will be filled, because they know Luigi is inevitable.

Right, does anyone think a character not created by LEGO themselves would be powerful enough to take the city? That's an insanely foolish thing to think, no crime lord can deal with Luigi, no licensed character dares to even walk into his terrain, Luigi shall take the City sooner or later without a proper defence. Many may challenge him, the likes of Sam Sinister, Blacktron, Lord Vampyre may attempt to claim the City but I think none shall be able to take it.

Apart from maybe Ogel, but tbf he apparently did 9/11 canonically so he might be more vicious than other LEGO villains

(Absolute Joker is a successful comedian despite the unfortunate chemical accident that happened to him while he was filming his action movie series Red Hood. He's not remotely villanous, but Ab-bat doesn't realize his stand-up material is joking and thinks he's confessing to criminal activity on regular, televised basis)

Beautiful render here, it says a lot about society

Who said anything about using Corn-cob’s weapons? They won’t be much use now that I’ve dealt with his former command structure.

You see I’ve discovered a weapon far more powerful than what Corn-cob ever used to keep his subordinates and Lego City in line.

In other news I’ve deployed the newly remilitarised LCPD to liberate other sectors formerly controlled by Corn-cob. Their elected officials have been corrupt for far too long. Corruption is a disease, Lego City is infested with it and only I can administer the cure. I will bring a better regime to these wronged places. One that is impervious to the corruption that has plagued the city for so long.

I knew you couldn't be trusted! You only started that smear campaign against mayor Corn-Cob so you could seize power and take over! You won't get away with this!!

Next you'll be saying you 'love democracy', all the while playing both sides in this conflict so you can keep power for as long as you live - and beyond.

Oh my bricks, it's all so clear to me now! @CloneCommando99 is a secret Sith Lord!

Oh no, no, no. Corn-cob was evil. He just didn’t use the full potential of his resources.

FYI: the new and improved Aqua Raiders have taken Barracuda Bay. The Barracuda and Captain Brickbeard are in Davey Jones’ locker now. The seas are free from his tyrannical piracy.

I have brought peace, justice and security to my new empire!

Not quite. The Sith are emo crybabies. (Though they have some good ideas for government)

I prefer a more, simplistic approach.

I prefer to use the weapon which I before mentioned to @Renny The Spaceman. One that not only ensures my control, but strengthens my power.

@Mandalorianknightis it deliberate that the forklift is ever so slightly off the ground, like it's going really very fast for a forklift, or is it a quirk of the render?

Yeeeeesss, totally, definitely wasn't a render issue.

Oh. They won’t be finding anyone ever again. (They were a threat to global security)

Thoughts on the new Space Police uniform? They’ve just replaced the LCPD.

In other news, all criminals have been purged. Therefore I have diverted all prison funds into building affordable housing for my city’s citizens. Same goes for the Arctic Explorers program.

The Space Exploration Division’s personnel have been merged with Space Police.

Whilst all other science divisions are being split between finding the cure to Lego Cancer and Project Orpheus.

…yeah, I’ll be keeping onto my arsenal of Tumblers for the moment, thank you…

My brother, Clone Commando, is this what our beloved would really want? In her past, she may have fought in defense of a regime, but she devoted her life afterward to fighting for freedom of choice and liberty of life across the galaxy.

You’ve watched Horrible Histories (which I still haven’t yet, unfortunately) and are a Brit, after all, who’s probably studied your own history on occasion. Thus, you know that to replace one regime with another can only lead to a worser state than previous. You’ll only further mistrust and divide society further than before. The former regime’s allies and leaders will work back to power. If power, even your own power, goes unchecked by the people, then how will those who seek only their own go unchecked when they are elected to positions of government?

Morally speaking, who can decide the villains: us, them, some random dude online who goes by the name of a weapon with a y at the end to make it sound more casual? Aren’t we all villains in some way? Yet should we destroy ourselves? Nay, but we work to make society at large better by resting power into the hands of the people whom that power will affect.

Will evil still exist? Absolutely, for men will always be selfish (quite a few women, while we’re at it.) However, the virus of selfishness will remain out of power as long as people are vigilant. If they choose not to be vigilant, then they shall suffer the consequences. Who should give or not give them the right to choose their fate? Us, them, some random dude online who really likes a certain CMF Series 1 minifigure?

Free will belongs to the people, thus government should belong to the people. Common law is what binds a society together against true, prevailing evil, not the words of a man (or woman) who proclaims what is good or bad.

All of that to say, the new Space Police uniform looks way better than the original, although perhaps the yellow looks slightly off? Looks a bit greenish, in my oh so humble opinion. Maybe if it matched the Yellow Lantern logo more it’d look better? At the very least, some more red in the yellow colouration would work better.

You’re right. I don’t know what came over me. I was so blinded by my faith that I forgot what she stands for.

I’m beginning to think that the voice that called to me was not Mara after all. Then what was it?!!!! I need to shut down Project Orpheus before it’s too late….

I’m so sorry. I will immediately step down from power. But should I forsake my Power Ring or return to green? The people can form a true republic.… Wait… no… it can’t be…

In actual Lego DC news looks like the rubber cape batman will come in magazine, unfortunately using the 2012 black suit. But with the rubber cape and newer cowl.

Also the Brickheadz is now a VIP reward. And the 1992 gargoyle polybag is a GWP ( but I got that fig when it was with a magazine so :shrug_confused:). Looks like there's also some VIP point multiplers on certain sets?

Retail sets becoming VIP or GWP rewards is really not a good sign, unfortunately.

The 4+ sets always have some nice printed pieces as well, if there is anything you could do with those. I am very excited, though--my son loves Lego Batman. I just hope we get a new villain with it. We already have enough Jokers and Harley Quinns to last a lifetime.

I propose the plural: Harleys Quinn

On the new offers, LEGO has double points on a number of Batman sets, including 76328, until September 23. But it's only available for purchase from October 1 and you can't pre-order it to take advantage of the points. The ineptitude is baffling!

They renamed The Penguin to „Oz Cobb“ in the show?! Oswald Cobblepot isn‘t exactly a real name, but come on. It‘s the same universe that has a guy running around dressed as a bat, so no reason to be ashamed, guys  Also, his name now sounds like Oscorp.

I don‘t mind Reeves‘ more grounded take on Batsy (on the contrary, I loved the movie!), but this goes a bit far.

Is is not just a shortening that has been blown wildly out of proportion? That's what I'm hearing.

Actually now that I've watched (90% of) capes crusader I'd liked to see the Harley from that. Give us a Batmobile with her, Batman and Alfred for £25 and the Cat mobile with Catwoman, Oswalda and Barbie for £25.

This has to be one of the most bizarre and possible dumbest attempts to ground a character in the history of comics. Cobblepot is too silly, so let’s name him Cobb?
