Looks like the Peely and Sparkplug set is actually a playset! (Peely's Camp and Sparkplug) That's pretty exciting, a $20 minfigure set is huge.

Also a relief for the parents since they aren't required to cough up $100 for Fortnite minifigures anymore. Hoping it comes with 1 other minifig aside from the titular ones, I'm thinking Skull Trooper

Three licensed minifigs, which would all need fully new prints, in a $20 set seems pretty optimistic. Not impossible, but I wouldn't count on it.

I think the most likely place to wring out more minifigs will be the restaurant. Beef Boss seems pretty likely, but I think another 3-4 minifigs is within reason. I'm also hoping that we don't get more "all-black filler characters" like some of the Battle Bus minifigs, since the restaurant doesn't inherently have "conflict."

Allegedly, we already have set numbers for the 2026 Fortnite sets, namely 77079-77082 (source: fateful_04) Pretty early to already have 2026 set numbers, but fateful is a reliable source!

And the fact that the battle bus will be the only set we have now still available at that time is crazy

It makes sense, though - The Battle Bus is essential for any Fortnite fan! It also is the only Minifig set that we got in the first wave, and (some of) the other sets can be extended if they sell well.

Got that thing myself and even gave my figs some guns so I can confirm, any gamer who likes lego has gotta get one at some point

I have not gotten it yet, but I plan to, and I also plan to add some guns - The Overwatch pistols, ADU blasters, TLM/JW rifles, and stud-shooters all would provide appropriate weaponry without looking out-of-place alongside the LEGO renditions of the characters!

You can also use the double barrel pistol in dark grey and the binoculars in red for a tactical shotgun without it looking out of place (and also the pistol piece that Black Widow has for any normal one)

Nice! Unfortunately, red binoculars are extremely rare. 🫤

There hasn't been any word on more Zelda sets yet, right? I haven't seen anything yet at least, which is kind of surprising, but I guess even if they make another it might not be until the end of this year.

There has not been to my knowledge. LEGO's weird with Nintendo, for all we know there won't be another Zelda set for the foreseeable future. Maybe this one will just stay on shelves for a while

I feel like Eiji Aonuma's comments when the Deku Tree launched and the fact that Zelda has its own theme page on Lego's website all but confirms we'll get another set eventually. But yeah idk, maybe they want a big gap between the Deku Tree and the next one, or they were waiting to see how sales were?

Seems likely, however it seems weird to gauge interest in a theme through a set that’s half targeted towards fans of OoT and half towards BotW when so many BotW fans are probably priced out of a large D2C set to begin with.

If the Great Deku Tree set was just based on OoT I suppose that logic would still make more sense, but I’m sure plenty of BotW fans occupy younger demographics. I guess an apt comparison would be how Lego are approaching Lord of the Rings - they refuse to make any sets that aren’t huge and pricey, but they’re based on films that released over 2 decades ago.

Really hoping for more Zelda though, especially Tears of the Kingdom sets. There are so many locations, vehicles, and characters that are ripe for Lego representation. Even a ‘create your own builds’ set themed around Zonai devices would be awesome.

Brickarms is the best for realistic guns but if you just want Lego ones then I guess brickbuilt ones will do or a SW sniper rifle

I wish Mario got minifigures :/

There are definitely plenty of younger fans, but I am pretty confident there are enough older fans that it wouldn't be an issue. Nintendo has said before that people 20 to 30 are the largest demographic of Switch owners, and even if someone was a kid when BotW released, they may very well be an adult now. That was eight years ago as of tomorrow!

Watermarked photos of the summer Fortnite set have leaked. They're on the Lego News and Rumors subreddit for now.

  • The Peely/Sparkplug Campground also comes with a skeleton, Lego Fortnite wolf, a Loot Llama, a crafting table, a campfire, and some ruins. Seems like decent value for $20.
  • Durr Burger Resturaunt has Durr Burget, Beach Bomber, a black hooded character (possibly Grimey), and a skeleton. The restaurant looks about 20 studs wide, including a bunch on the side, and includes a large sign with a burger on top. There's also a small seating area outside and a drive through menu. I think it's missing something to quite make it worth $60 (another minifig would have been great), but it still looks pretty good.
  • Klombo looks pretty much exactly like how you would think he looks. Includes two minifigs: Islander Peely and Oro. Didn't really need a third Peely variant, but Klombo himself looks good. Probably worth the $100 asking price, but I'm just not in the market for it.
  • Mecha Team Leader: Looks like Mecha Team Leader! Hard to get an idea of scale or the finer details with the photo, though.

The Campground isn't what I was expecting, (a vehicle would have been nice since it has a mechanic character) but I'll pick it up when it goes on sale. The Resturaunt I'll totally pick up since it makes of a killer display model with some pretty good looking minifigs. Klombo I'll also get since he was pretty much ripped straight from the game. (Also the skeleton dude looks genuinely cool)

On Instagram TandNbricks is teasing Zelda returning in 2026. Last year they correctly teased Simpsons, Pokemon, Horizons Zero Dawn, and Lord of the Rings for 2025. They wrongly teased Indiana Jones and Endor Master Builder Series.

So, take that for what you will. But hopeful we get more Zelda.

Did he tease anything else this year?

The April Fool's posts always have to be taken with a grain of salt... But I'll be happy if we get more Zelda sets. Especially if they come at a cheaper price range (unless we can get a Hyrule Castle, then I'll be willing to shell out some cash).

Just a Christmas Tie Fighter

I would bet that LEGO will keep Zelda as a 2-in-1 approach with Ocarina of Time (for nostalgia) and BotW (for modern fans). They could keep it going for years with so many locations reoccurring in the game series. Some ideas:

- Lon Lon Ranch or  BotW Stable

- OoT Temple of Time or BotW Temple of Time

- OoT Hyrule Castle or BotW Castle Ruins

- OoT Kakariko Village or BotW Impa’s house

Whatever they do next, I hope we get more characters as minifigures.

Fingers crossed. I know Nintendo announced a March 2027 release date for the movie adaptation, so I can see some brand synergy if the sets are planned for late 2026.

April fools or not I should very much hope so. It'd be very underwhelming for Zelda to be a one and done with Deku tree.

I almost hope not, it made the set more expensive for it's size and it would still have been pricey enough without that. I am a bit biased as I've only played one of the two games there ( I'd play Ocarina if I had a console it would play on, but alas) but if they are going to do it they could at least give birth adult Links a master Sword and Hylian shield. Maybe if they announce a new Zelda Title tomorrow they could have a full wave to tye in to it. Though I fear Zelda will probably be kept as a D2C theme and Lego is spreading themselves thin with all these new themes.

I do feel like so of these aren't as similar to each other as the two Deku trees. Personally I'd also rather a TotK stable as then they could include a few more recurring stable characters as well the BotW ones, like Penn and Stable Trotters. It would be funny if they made some relatively obscure guys before they did Gannon.

I'm bais to the games I've played so I'd like to see stuff from TotK, BotW, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Link's Awakening, Echoes of Wisdom, Oracle of Seasons and

I did some of Octane Thermoplastic's Lego Zelda stuff in Newport at the weekend and it shows there's a lot they could do with the theme.

I'd the are gonna stick to the D2C route the hopefully the cold do the D&D/Simpsons trick and have a Minifigure series too.
