Maybe Weathertop? Not really a set clamoring for a remake, but I think one that could both benefit from it (compared to what we got last time) and be another breather after one or two bigger set.

It says on the Lego web site that it will be up for sales 04/02.

In the past, I have noticed that some times, the item itself will go one sale, but the GWP might not pop up on the web site until a couple of minutes later, or even an hour in one case.

Id guess Grey Havens with dock + ship could be in range of max 300 EUR... since the ship was not really big

That’s a good point, I was actually thinking about that last night. A new Weathertop would be great and could be a smaller scale D2C potentially, if they stick to only D2Cs

And it would be a great oportunity to include few Nazguls with horses. I guess 2-3 of them + Aragorn, 4 hobbits and maybe, MAYBE Arwen with white horse? That would make 8-9 minifigs (which is realistic number) and decetn build of Amon Sul all in price range of 200 USD? Is it too naive? :)

I would prefer getting a d2c of the ford of bruinen and get some Nazgûl with horses, maybe a diorama of that scene.  Would be cool and could be in the $100-$200 range for a d2c.  Maybe have five horses, Arwen, Frodo, and four Nazgûl with the water horses being brick built.  If they were really clever there could be a way to get the water horses to gallop and move.

I just realized for The Shire, 9 minifigures are included but none of them have traditional minifigure posable legs.

I doubt we'd get 5 horses in a big set let alone a relatively small set. The much larger LKC only got two horses and a cow.

Have pretty much pushed this set back to be bought later in the year. The GWP is awful and I want to snag a few PoTC sets before they fly up in value in September(((

Well there are a lot locations, they could do for a smaller set, but like the weathertop those aren´t really sets I would consider to be made a big D2C set.

Anybody going to a store to buy it in person tomorrow?

Hopefully won't be much of a queue given the mid-week release, only release on 2nd April as well as the mixed reviews (price).

The biggest queue I was ever in was for Rivendell. (So much so they implemented a ticket system, and we paid for the item in the line before they bought it out for you pre-bagged)
Barad-Dur wasn't too bad, but a lot of other sets released on that day too.

I wish, I’m actually really bummed it isn’t releasing on a weekend like it usually does. This will be the first out of the three that I won’t be standing in line because of work. And unfortunately it deprives my kids the experience of the release

Nah, I will buy it the second it releases on the online shop as usual. Am not sleeping till it's ordered. Never missed a GWP this way.

Megablocks is a great brand. I've bought Drogon from them. The quality is great.The best brick build dragon ever. Minifig/action figure Daenerys actually looks like Emilia Clarke.

Same for me, first time I won’t be in person.  Little bummed because my store printed tickets to stand in line for the last two and was hoping to get a third.
