I thought the Cupid wings were a neck attachment, but they‘re attached to a bracket piece. I forgor Makes a lot more sense than developping a new piece for a Creator set. Quote

Two pigeons probably isn’t enough.. We can still call it that though, a bit like the gorillas jungle set, which is 95% helicopter - it’ll always be the gorillas set to me. I would not mind a set where 95% of the included parts were pigeons!! Quote

Black Falcon Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Eitherway I would think the Pigeon will stay around thanks to City for a long time, so I wouldn´t be to afraid to get them fast. Quote

Yep, it’s hard to predict how ‘evergreen’ new animal moulds will be, but there’s a subset which definitely are. I’m assuming the pigeon joins the squirrel, bunny, owl etc. in being long-lived. I do hope they’re either available easily through BAM or well priced on PAB, so I’d also welcome any army-building option such as inclusion in a CMF. Quote
hikouki Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Does Lego have to retool the moulds after just about a year or two of production of a particular animal type? How come we get these 'breaks' when some animals that they just introduced somewhat disappear from sets? They should recolor the goat, after all, it has been the GOAT for quite a while. Quote

They did recolor the goat from the original in fact we have 2 new colors out recently the white one and the grey one. Quote

Oh yes, one from the CMF and one from the market set. But what I meant was to recolor it another time, like perhaps into reddish brown and perhaps add some black moonspots. Quote

How come we get these 'breaks' when some animals that they just introduced somewhat disappear from sets? No they can use them until they are worn down like any part mould. However if Lego do not find a use for them after 5 years they will be destroyed and then it cost a lot more to bring them back, like what happed to the goat. Say City introduce a new dog mould then they have them in 2-3 sets in that wave, next time they need a dog in a set they may make a new mould so they have no use of the old one. If no other themes make use of the dog within 5 years it's gone.. Everyone wants something new, but it's not ideal if every animal mould just comes only in 1-2 sets either. However it seems that Lego designers are more aware of keeping animals around now, e.g. the lobster that was close to the 5 year cut off was included in a HP set now without a strict need to be in the set (at least I can not remember any lobster in the movie). williejm Posted April 21 Posted April 21 (edited) Actually, I take that back, I think they are both the same and they are both foxes. There’s no way those are the existing wolf mould unless someone is trolling us with manipulated box art. If true that means 2025 has given us wolves, pigeons and foxes - three of the most wanted & most obviously missing critters. 🥳🥳🥳 Edited April 21 by williejm Quote

Roebuck Posted April 21 Author Posted April 21 My money is on foxes, however do that mean there is a fox den in the other set or is that still a wolf den?! I would guess still wolf, but it's possible there is a mix up since the leaker did not pay attention to animals and minifigs at all Quote

I’m confused why the foxes seem to have a poster or a sign on the wall though Quote
