But won't that make the stems fall apart easily when rearranging flowers? Unless the frictionless end accepts a pin? I don't know, haven't yet had the 5L axle connector in hand. Great to see quite a few of the suggestions on the first page have already been realized. But specifically for 1:12 scale with little room for creating attachment points for bodywork details, I'd say we could really really use and but with axle holes only! True, we do have that topic, and it probably would be good to take future discussion there! I guess I was trying to be more specific in my question, though, to focus on parts that enable completely new options. These suspension parts allow for creating functions that really couldn't be done before at that scale, and while we could think of all kinds of new parts that would make specific constructions easier, I was trying to focus on parts that make new functions possible, rather than just making certain situations easier. Stereo Posted May 13 Posted May 13 The axle might go all the way through the 5L axle connector? I've never had one so I don't know if it has an internal stop. Would make it easier to avoid axles getting stuck inside it, if you can push a 12L axle through it. Quote

I don't know, haven't yet had the 5L axle connector in hand. 2 studs of the joiner have friction and 3 studs are frictionless. You can also see that by shape, usually smooth outer shape means frictionless like small and large CV joints, etc... Quote

So what you're saying is there's a 1L wide stop in the part, kinda like a 3L axle joiner, rather than a "0L stop" in something like the 2L axle joiner? I would have preferred 4L friction-less+1L friction-ed to be honest Edited May 13 by SNIPE Quote

I meant internal stops, surely you can;t just push an axle all the way through? if so then well, that has its uses, but wont it also mean the axles can push each other out ,if there's an axle on both sides of the part? From the info I saw, you can pass the axle though it all the way and that would also make sense for use case of holding the sign. Quote

You can use the tan 4l axle with middle stop facing either direction depending if you want 2 or 3 length of axle sticking out, I suppose for driveshaft slip joints you won't want the second axle to be in the friction part anyway so they shouldn't actually touch inside it. Takanuinuva Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Question is there similar part to this but it has a pin hole instead of an axle? I got a light brick function idea for the upcoming Lego Ideas Luxo Jr and would like a similar part that has a pin hole connection instead. Quote

There is a similar option I just found while searching, this wheelchair wheel. If the thickness of the disc isn't an issue, there's also this wheel, but it's a full stud in thickness. EDIT: The closest match I know of with a pinhole is this gear, though the pinhole is still a full stud in thickness. Edited May 15 by N-4K0 Quote

But I'll keep an eye out on the wheelchair wheel. Quote

Lyichir Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Noticed in a review of the Ninjago Temple Bounty set that it has the 3M Technic liftarm with center axle hole in light bley, the first color it's been in other than white. Quote
