Euphorine Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Here’s an idea of scenario, unofficial. I would like to build it, with real bricks. If the LEGO Elves is stopped in 2017, I would write this scenario. It's the beginning. And with the LDD MOC that accompanies it. The story begins when Emily and her friends are reunited in the stars observatory for a very rare astronomical event in Elvendale. They felt the advent of impending disaster by a huge earthquake. The sacred tower is desecrated! Elvendale runs to destruction. In the observatory, Emily meets Luna. She is a light elf. And with the airship of the observatory, Emily Jones and the elves will investigate near the sacred tower to see what happens. To be continued in the next episode “The tower of the sacred crystal” Sorry for my bad English. Edited March 31, 2016 by Euphorine
Aanchir Posted March 29, 2016 Brilliant MOC! It feels extremely unique and detailed! If there's one thing I'd suggest, it's that it could use some of the peaked roof motifs like you see in a lot of the Elves sets. Without them I feel like it almost feels too modern for Elvendale. What color are you using for the tan parts? It should be Brick Yellow, but it almost looks like Light Nougat (the skin color of the light-skinned Elves). It might just be the software you're using making it look so rosy, though. The crawling ivy on the sides is nice, though the rest of the side walls could use some more decoration — maybe even just using another color like Medium Nougat for the bottom row of bricks around the perimeter. The airship is great and I love all the features you incorporated into the observatory itself, including both brick-built and printed/stickered decor. It's very smart that you came up with a way for the observatory to open so you can see the "planetarium" area inside. Overall, this is probably one of the most creative LEGO Elves MOCs I've seen to date! Fantastic work!
Euphorine Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Thank you very much. I had several inspirations I have taken note of your advice The basic color of the walls is "Light Nougat" I Think the software “bluerender” makes more rosy wall. As regards the roof this is true. I will work the roof way more "elves". Edited March 29, 2016 by Euphorine
Junior Shark Posted March 29, 2016 That's very good! It feels like a real Lego Elves set. The blue coloring is a great choice. That mini solar system model is ace. And the balloon/zeppelin is wonderful.
iammac Posted March 29, 2016 I love the planetary model! Nice touch, Copernicus would proud...
Euphorine Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Thank you for your kindness I just rework the roof to render it Elvish. Edited March 30, 2016 by Euphorine
SWNELoveAngel Posted March 29, 2016 I like the creative design, and the colors you chose for the building and ship. Since it's in Elvendale, and not on Earth, there might be totally different constellations seen at night, though. Still, very fun idea!
Iria Posted March 30, 2016 I love it~! The exterior has a nice Elves esthetic, while the interior planetarium is very unique. You've done a great job incorporating constellations and stellar designs throughout. Such a creative MOC and story! (Cool avatar by the way).
