Actually, you are demonstrating the fine art of "Patching Out" (laying a patch of rubber down). A proper "Burnout" requires burning rubber (and lots of smoke):
Torana.
Have you successfully done a burnout without holding the car in place?

Well, if I raise the pneumatics all the way up, it can do a "patch out" without my foot holding it.
In a fullsize car, you hold the brakes on while you are doing a burnout to "hold the car in place".
In the annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis ND, they use chock block to "hold the motorcycle in place" during the burnout competition.
Drag Cars have something called a line lock that allowes them to only actuate the front brakes to facilitate a burnout amongst other things.

i can barely see a patch of rubber, but i have done this before, albleit not with a car.
I have those tires too. They would make it really easy, because they have very little grip.
