Rconn0 Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) Here's my newest Moc. The pirates have been running through the port all day with stolen gold and gunpowder, the soldiers are in hot pursuit. They see their ship up ahead, it's right next to a cannon fort. It's gonna be close. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr The pirates set a fire in a nearby food stall as a diversion. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr A pirate from on board shoots the swivel gun while another takes out the soldier at the cannon. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr One pirate jumps into the water and swims toward the boat with the stolen gunpowder. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr The boat, my first attempt at homemade rigging. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Figless (and shipless). C&C appreciated, thanks. Hindenburg Posted April 26, 2015 Are you sure that the gunpowder still works after being in the water?? That's a pretty cool MOC, I love the custom ship you have build there...
Sir E Fullner Posted April 26, 2015 Nice work, but this really belongs in the Pirate MOCs section of the forums.
Captain Dee Posted April 27, 2015 Overall the building techniques are pretty simple but it's a good action scene with plenty play features. Nice job with the ship - it's small but matches the scene well. The cobblestone is good and the red roof gives it a splash of color. I think the powder is fine as long as the barrel doesn't leak! Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 27, 2015 I have moved this post to the pirate MOC section. 600x800 is allowed to have: A nice little port with a nice little ship.
Rconn0 Posted April 27, 2015 Thanks for the feedback and captain braunsfeld thanks for moving the topic to the right place, I didn't realize it didn't belong where I originally put it, sorry for the trouble.
