Future74 Posted February 23, 2009 (edited) When I saw the droideka by hopeso009 I was astonished I couldnt build this beauty because I didnt have and couldnt get all the necessary parts, so I started my own MOC. Here is my first version of the droideka: Thanks hopeso009 for the inspiration! Hope you'll like it. Still working on others... KimT Posted February 23, 2009 Great MOC you've done there. Perhaps you ought to switch the exo force robot arms for some in pearl silver? I'll make sure to add this to the index.
Natman8000 Posted February 23, 2009 Lookin' good! I think you should switch up the head though since I think it coulld use some work there.
-JD- Posted February 23, 2009 Very good moc! Now perhaps you should make a brown colour scheme destroyer droid. JD
Darth Legolas Posted February 23, 2009 Yeah, KimT is right, pearl silver is closer to the colors of the rest of the MOC. But, this is still a great MOC!
hopeso009 Posted February 24, 2009 This is cool~~~~ I think ....it is a new one invented by you ....(not even simply inspired by me) In the oppose, I think I got inspired at some points. Thanks~~
Smithy_Boy Posted February 24, 2009 Very nice. It looks awesome. I would try to add in more brown though.
djo Posted February 24, 2009 nice droideka. nice building technique too. looks like it is very sturdy too. i like it very much. nice creation.
CommanderCody77 Posted February 24, 2009 Looks cool and sturdy but I think the head is too small
Millacol88 Posted February 24, 2009 Other than colour scheme, its perfect. However, I don't think that's a huge problem as its still great. Good work.
pr0visorak Posted February 24, 2009 Although the color is wrong...This Moc is very good and is quite creately made!
Future74 Posted February 24, 2009 Thanks for all your nice comments Perhaps you ought to switch the exo force robot arms for some in pearl silver? I dont have any exo force... just SW Lego. I specially ordered loose bricks to build this MOC. Or very old (and yellowish) lego from my youth days. This is cool~~~~I think ....it is a new one invented by you ....(not even simply inspired by me) In the oppose, I think I got inspired at some points. Thanks~~ Thanks! Always nice to hear that from the master himself. I'm still working on a few... and there will be some features that I used from your designs. Very nice. It looks awesome. I would try to add in more brown though. I’m afraid I don’t have the parts. Can’t break up the SW collection either and cant use the old parts, but if I did have them I would have used them instead of course. looks like it is very sturdy too. It is and you can roll it up as well.
