The Great Steppes Walking Fortress War Tortoise was a rarely seen but formidable foe, reputed to have been empolyed by raiders from the east against Germanic tribes as early as 434AD. In fact there are few reliable documented cases of it's use in the field of battle, historians stating its lumbering gait, poor maneuverability and likely fictional nature as the major hinderances to its success.

This deer is my second alternative model built out of set 70827 (Ultrakatty & Warrior Lucy!). It features big antlers and moving legs, neck and head. My goal with this model was to find some purpose for different thorns included in big amounts in set 70827. This model is my fourth entry to TLCB Lock-Down Competition. When I was done with deer I built simple turtle from leftover parts to give Emmet something for riding too. You also might remember my first alternative model from this set - Alien queen. Building instructions for both models are available at buildinst.cz Any comments are welcomed.

I built the big sea turtle for my girlfriend a few months ago. She asked me recently to take a professional picture of it. And then one thing led to another... The coral reef, Marlin, Dory, and Squirt all came together in just about an hour, but I'm quite happy with the finished composition. Hope you like it, leave any/all feedback below!

Colony Name: Tortuga Ownership: Sea Rats Location: Sea Turtle Island (Island #10, West Prio Sea ) Island Description: Much of the coast of this Island disappears completely below the waves at high tide, and the surrounding sea is very shallow, allowing only smaller ships to near the island, with exception to a small rocky portion to the northern side. The Island interior--that which stays above water at all times--is dominated by coconut palms and other salt-tollerant species. The small island is the hatching site for innumeral sea turtles, multiple times per year.

The shipwreck bay is a small portion of rockier coastline on the nothern shore of Sea Turtle Island. Many an unfortunate ship ran aground, not seeingthe deadly riff by flow. The falling tide reveals what's left of the once proud vessels. Nonetheless the Sea Rats found good use for them, refitting some of the shipwrecks for hideouts. E444-044 Hi everyone, this is the second MOC for my project of Italian locomotives that will affect the period from 1930 to 2015. It's time for the sinuous E444, also called "Tartaruga" that means "Turtle" for its rounded shapes, in exercise from 1967. After seeing the beautiful model made by Helos http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/61979-moc-e444-the-turtle-electric-fs-locomotive/ I've made my own replica with some minus differences like the air intakes on the sides and other pieces not previously available in blue. This locomotive became the official engine of the “Gran Confort” coaches As usual I made this model employing the PF system, using the IR receiver in upside down position and realizing my usual lights Enjoy the pictures... Now what's next? ...stay tuned!

This is a fun little experiment of mine that I've been working on for quite a while. Anyone remember the BIONICLE Master Builder Set? Well, I've been exploring the possibility of something similar based on the Hero Factory building system. So far, I've come up with seven models that can be built from seventy-seven pieces. All images link to Flickr: Dog: Monkey: Hawk: Kangaroo: Turtle: Gorilla: Raptor: Each of these models contains between twenty and thirty pieces. The only piece that I used that does not already appear in sets in the correct color is a black rubber whip (61975) which I used for the monkey's tail. Inventory: Anyone think this merits a LEGO Cuusoo proposal? Or is it too much of a long shot?

Hi guys, I recently went back to Lego after a 20 + year hiatus ^^ and I spent a couple of days designing the Turtle's van from the classic 80's show/toy. Always wanted to have it. - It can fit 5 characters with 4 of them seated. - The inside of the van is filled with turtle gadgets and...PIZZA! - Doors on both sides of the van can open with optional Flick Missiles for playability. - The cannons on top can move around. - The roof is easy to remove, revealing all the turtles' weapons beneath it. - The weapons seamlessly disappear when looking at the front of the van. Let me know what you guys think .

A drone unit for dealing with other drone units that are far too cute and popular for their own good. "These Turtle units are too common-place, and too heavily armed. They've become a problem, a problem that requires... Rectification."
