    Throttle Hot Rod

Smooth as always from the Rodmaster :) Nice to see an orange one!
  2. Nice addition :)
  3. Another great creation from you, Hoexbroe. I won't bring anything new to this topic, as this has already been said, but I'd still like to join in the praise of some of your details, like those phone bars for door handles. Very nice! I'd tile the platform, though. I like slick surfaces, too :)
  4. I just saw them all together over at the Brothers Brick, and I have to say that as great as they each are on their own, they're truly fantastic when put together. The incredible details, the lovely colours, the variation between buildings, the selection of minifigs... this is a stunning MOC (although it should probably be an OOC, as there are three of you...). I don my hat to you!
  5. Your designs are great. Sure, my personal taste goes in the direction of more realistically-styled and -coloured buildings, but this hobby (and indeed, this community) wouldn't be the same if we all built the same creations! So really, keep on building in your own style. And remember, no matter what the style, there's always room for improvement :) That said, I really love your interiors. I try to cram as much detail as possible into my own creations, and you're very good at getting the details right. That, along with those funny stories (the dad with his trophy-winning son, and Tilda Ground in the gardeners' store), make your MOCs stand out. Keep up the good work! PS: Also, that crow on the roof of the Mexican restaurant is a great touch :)
  6. That's a remarkable amount of detail for such a small scale. I particularly like the removable top. Did you have any particular car in mind when building this?
  7. This is a classy MOC. Like the others have said, that curved corner is very nice, and I love the colour combinations. Tan and blue is not something I'd have tried, but it really works. Great job!
  8. I really, really like this - the lovely details, the colour combinations, everything! As others have already pointed out, that window arrangement is very nice, the sign is wonderful and the roof of the bank is different - in a good way. Still, I keep coming back to the small details, particularly the use of that towball piece for an easel and the parts combination for that yellow baby stroller. Great work! (But why has the ice cream seller gone sour?)
  9. I must say there's a whole lot to like here! The wonderful floor, that wall set at an odd angle separating the kitchen from the dining area, the stairs with the yellow and white roof, the kitchen equipment, the roof technique... yeah. Overall, a great build. Very well done.
  10. I might just have to take you up on that. I'll let you know if I ever pass by. I currently live in Bergen... ...men æ æ egentli sørlending :)
  11. That's stunning. And from a fellow Norwegian! Would love to see this up close one day. Mind if I ask you where in Norway, roughly, this masterpiece can be found?
  12. Oooh, all nice and lime-y :) And the SNOTwork is very nice, too. I like it a lot!
  13. Lots of very impressive entries here as well, but to me, three stand out, and they will receive one point each: 5) Cryostasis, built by Darkblane 6) Lunchtime at the Column of Times, built by shmails 8) 16 figs in a beach house, built by Cecilie
  14. Well done! Loads of great entries. I'm ending up with sharing my votes between three of them: 20) Artist Entry, built by lisqr (because I'm awestruck by that mural) 28) Sailor Entry, built by Raphy (because I dig that boat) 36) Lawn Gnome Entry, built by Ninja Nin (because it's a fantastic idea). One point each!
  15. You'll find a detailed explanation in the instructions when you receive your EN :)
  16. I'm looking forward to any instructions you could provide in the future, and I wish you luck with doing more virtual work. I normally work digitally when creating MOCs, because I don't have a big pile of bricks available for MOCing. That way I can order the bricks and build the creation afterwards, when I'm happy with it. It's not the cheapest way of doing it, but it keeps me from having to store a ton of bricks that are not in use (I don't have that kind of space).
  17. Really nice. I find it very impressive that you're so uncannily good at building realistic cars and at the same time you can build houses like this :) My favourite detail is the flag. It looks very good with the slope pieces. EDIT: Would have been nice with a black cat somewhere, though!
  18. Boy, are you in for a treat :)
  19. I was lucky enough to find the classic 10027 cheap on eBay a couple of years ago, in near-mint condition. But if you're looking for something else, I might suggest a couple of designs by Israeli Yoni Levi, he sells the instructions on eBay. I'm in the process of completing his fantastic train station design, but he has also done this and this (I can't embed the images here).
  20. Let me answer your very interesting question with what I wrote in the Train Tech Registry thread when I introduced myself: Now, that was six months ago. Since then, the collection has grown to include the Maersk train and the Lime Light, my recoloured version of the Emerald Night. And when my latest BrickLink order is delivered in a few days, I'll build a caboose for the EN, and Mr Sava's superb Polar Express train, complete with four wagons. Then the total number, I believe, will be 18... We're really crazy, aren't we? :D
  21. Yep, that was my idea :)

  22. Both #1 and #22 look great, but this is my favourite. I love the way the colours make it pop :)
  23. I remember seeing that MMV pizza place somewhere before. It's really nice and a very good idea. That church is also full of great details. Well done!
  24. Yep. Great conversion - this is what the set should have looked like in the first place. Don't dare to think how expensive it would have been, though... :)
  25. I continue to be amazed by your ability to get these cars to look realistic. That 2CV van is brilliant :)
