  1. I think it might be better for the two of you to agree to disagree at this point, Omi and NTF. I think we all pretty much hope that TLG will realize that their consumers want them to branch out with different characters in the future. Whether they have to restructure their current business model to do so remains to be seen. Overall, I think we've got a good start for the Marvel side and I think they have many directions they could go with in the future. For DC, though, we need more than Batman rehashes. Even if we got a set with Batgirl and/or Nightwing next year, we need some Justice League players as well. I've waited longer than I ever expected to for an affordable Green Lantern. Seriously, TLG, I don't care which Lantern you give us at this point, just give us one.
  2. What's there to think about? It looks neat. I think the little blocks representing the turtles are cute. I wanted the Kraang robosuit thingy also, so it's win-win. Lots of good pieces as well. I'll have to look for this one.
  3. Cronk recounts the story for Dyric then.
  4. If Ecatsue would allow party a moment for discussion now that all friends are here... (Whispers) Dyric, man here has tragic story and says man will pay next week. Cronk informed man that next week would not satisfy new owner but man does not seem keen on trying to work things out and claims to be too busy at the moment. Cronk is not sure if it is worth mentioning but Ecatsue does not seem to have been fond of Mr. Krook. Cronk wonders if man might have been involved in Krook's death.
  5. Cronk feels for Ecatsue. True friendship is hard to come by. Destiny is hard to manipulate, though. Is Ecatsue sure that alchemy will work? Perhaps it would be easier to seek out witch and bash the spell away?
  6. Posades, never let the QM know you're stalling for time! You've got to play along and pretend that you're exhausting all of the plotted alternatives to fighting. Only then, when the party is together again, do you say "oh, well, I tried" and bash them anyway. It's like hostage negotiation. I haven't decided if Cronk has figured out what happened to Krook yet. He might've, though. Of course, he still thinks he solved the last murder investigation he was involved correctly. Stupid Haldor...
  7. (using diplomacy) Friends do not know where Ecatsue is coming from because Ecatsue has not told. Perhaps friends could help in way Ecatsue does not realize. Explain and maybe situation can be worked out satisfactorily.
  8. Cronk does not believe relaying a message would be satisfactory to new owner at this point. Cronk believes that only bargaining in person with owner or making an arrangement with party now would satisfy. Cronk is very sorry to be a bother. Cronk understands that Ecatsue is very busy. But Ecatsue must understand where party is coming from as well. Friends are very willing to compromise or help Ecatsue finish faster but friends cannot go back to owner without something more substantial than a message.
  9. Unfortunately, being armoured is sometimes necassary for work as hero. Cronk prefer to talk with civilized beings and bash only evil but sometimes beings Cronk assumed were civilized turn out not to be so. If essences cannot be helped along, is there another way that friends could help? What is hooded figure trying to restore? Cronk has some experience with healing if that would be helpful and there is another healer in party as well.
  10. Maybe Cronk and rest of party can help hooded figure. If friends can help figure finish work, then hooded figure will have time to work out rent problem. Will hooded figure let Cronk and Cronk's friends help?
  11. In what way was Krook disagreeable? All other tenants seemed to like the man. Cronk does not know if hooded figure would find new owner disagreeable as well but where is harm in trying to reach agreement? Hooded figure may be busy but Cronk is sure that clearing up this problem would not take long. What is hooded figure's work, if hooded figure does not mind Cronk asking? Cronk must say also that those are some very pretty dragons. Cronk has met some dragons in past, so Cronk knows what Cronk is talking about when Cronk says this.
  12. Cronk is afraid that the new management is not willing to wait that long or management would not have hired party to collect. Perhaps some arrangement could be made, though, that would satisfy both parties. Does hooded figure want to discuss things with new owner to see if such arrangement could be made?
  13. Cronk gets out of the dumbwaiter and sends it back down. Hello. Cronk is sorry to drop by so unexpectedly but this was only way in. Cronk and Cronk's friends were hired to collect rent. Cronk was told renter in penthouse owed 300 gold, so if hooded man will make good on rent, Cronk can be on Cronk's way.
  14. I think their Bilbo scavenger hunt thing was a good idea. From what I hear, it was much more readily available than the SH exclusives and since he came in a set later, there's no animosity from fans who didn't make it. Honestly, though, just making it to Comic Con seems like reward enough in and of itself. It's a nerd nirvana. I don't think TLG needs to further subsidize the trip for people by letting them scalp exclusive figures afterwards.
  15. I'm moving this to General since this really more of a building question even though you want to use it for Batman.
  16. If you'd like to become a part of the community, we welcome you, but Eurobricks is not a bulletin board for people selling LEGO. I suggest you try Ebay.
  17. Sadly, I don't think I can commit the proper amount of time to a game right now. Good luck, Tammo, I'll make sure to follow along from the sidelines.
  18. Whatever friends want to do. Rest assured, Cronk will find door once Cronk gets to penthouse. Cronk does not intend to ride in tiny elevator back down. Cronk is not looking forward to ride up. Does any friend think there is weight limit to this? Cronk would still try to fulfill mission regardless, Cronk is just teensy bit nervous.
  19. Perhaps friends should take stairs and be ready for when Cronk unlocks door.
  20. Cronk will volunteer. Cronk should be able to hold own for a while until help arrives if fighting happens. And Cronk should be able to be diplomatic enough to avoid arguments.
  21. Cronk had not thought of that. Cronk is sure wolpertinger is friendly but Cronk is not sure how wolpertinger would unlock door by self. But it might be possible. Cronk thinks it would be good if friends examined dumbwaiter anyway. Make sure it is safe. If it is big enough, maybe one of party could fit inside.
  22. I've merged your thread with this one since it is set news for 2013. I don't speak or read French, but from context clues, I assume you only have to spend $30 Canadian on SH sets to get him? That's not terrible. Already having Robin from the Funhouse, I'm not impressed enough to go out of my way for this. If you didn't spring for one of the more expensive sets to get him, though, this is an excellent way to get him instead.
  23. Cronk will search the floor to see if Krook dropped key before being killed.
  24. It was from your story about getting frisked for knives. You said contest instead of concert. I don't think the drinks had arrived yet, so you might be able to remember that conversation.
  25. Cronk had feeling that would be the case. Hmmm.... Is there anything in hallway that might hide a key? Is there door mat or potted plant?
