    They're simply further along in design process than the Superheroes sets. I like them. I was epecting this sort of large piece building style but was hoping it would be more akin to the Friends set design. But these are aimed at a slightly younger audience for the most part and as such should do well as a transitional build from Duplo to System. The tower is a must have and the Merida set looks nice, especially with the triplets and the cookie catapult. My daughter will go nuts over these.

    They could use the new head mold but give him either the MF arms or the wings they gave Batman last year. Either of those would look better than forcing Manbat into armor.

    Please, no off topic comments about youtube reviewers. Still very sad about not being able to get Iron Patriot. He looks so awesome, it's a shame that TLG didn't put the design in one of IM3 sets.

    That's an excellent trick, WaysofSorting. I'll have to remember that the next time I find myself in that situation. My daughter likes to assemble minifigures somewhat randomly and this sometimes results in one of the older and worn heads to get stuck in a helmet. Normally, I just try putting the whole thing on different torsos until one neck provides more resistance than the headgear. Your way sounds better, especially since the goblets tend to have a pretty good grip to them.

    That would indeed be awesome. A classic Robin with the lighter blue Batman would fit in with the rest of my Super Friends very nicely.

    And I'm going to move it to the MCW forum where the experts on the quality of such things hang out. I'd also recommend deep-linking it so that people can view it without having to go to Flickr. I think it looks pretty good. The detail in the torso and the legs is just right. I love that it has a double sided head as well.

    It's very possible that the "teddy bear" is one of her brothers but it doesn't really fit the rest of the set so much. Did she have a teddy bear in that opening scene when she's younger and playing hide and seek with her mother? Getting Flynn in the Tower set is great news. Now I'm hoping they include Pascal and Maximus. They'd only need one new mold for Pascal and it could be reused/utilized in the friends animal line. I don't see why they wouldn't put Maximus in there for playability's sake.

    You want to do this, fine. I wasn't "throwing a hissy fit", I was trying to keep the topic to the subject matter it was meant for. If I were truly the power crazy fascist you think I am, you'd have been banned. Any complaints about me can be made here for now. It's nice and public so those that feel like telling me what a monstrous troll I am can do so without disturbing the people that are actually trying to have a discussion about Lego sets. I don't do this (moderating) for myself. When I step in, I've been asked to by a few people. If trying to get people to stay on topic sucks the enjoyment out of the forums for you, well, I'm sorry that you feel that way. I can't help the way you feel. I won't apologize for doing the job that I was tasked with when I accepted this position. I did think that I had earned some respect from the time that I have put into this.

You can disagree with me, just please keep this thread for the topic at hand. I'm sick of this kind of behavior from some of you and the least I deserve is a little respect for doing this volunteer work.

    I know it's tempting to give a rundown on all the awesome figures included in the game. Now that it's been done a while, let's try to keep the discussion around the sets we're likely to see this year. Comments about rumored figs for this year that appear in the game are fine, but let's try to focus on just them here. There's a thread in Culture and Multimedia about the game where the other characters could be talked about in length. Also, please stop quoting the pictures. It's not needed and only causes the page to load slower.

    Show discussion elsewhere, guys, unless it affects the sets. Personally, I enjoyed the first wave of sets (besides some price inflation compared to other lines) but as others have stated, TLG is really going to have to come up with something good to convince me to buy more when I've got all the turtles, Splinter, Shredder, and foot soldiers I need. And I don't know what characters would do that for me right now. There's a bunch of stuff on my shopping list next year and as nostalgic as I am for the TMNT stuff, I've got what I need.

    They could have cloth dress pieces, which would be nicer for articulation's sake. The main reason I think it's more likely is that it might be cheaper to portray a variety of dresses with different cloth prints than it would be to make several new molds.

    I'm particularly interested in the Rapunzel set. I hope they give her the long hair. New castle pieces are always welcome. My daughter is sure to love these. Tangled is one of her favorite movies and making a tower seems perfect for it.

    The very fact that they're including Batgirl at all is exciting. It shows how TLG may start branching out from Batman and Robin, even if she's still in the Bat family. I just hope that they show her as a hero on the box art as opposed to the treatment Wonder Woman got in her set.

I'm sure those visiting this thread for news are as tired as I am of reading such pointless things. Let's all work together to keep this thread as a viable source of information.     I have a feeling that I won't last terribly long after last game but I'll sign up anyway. 1. A bit. 2. Stanley Spussemin will always have a place in my heart. I really enjoyed playing his brand of insanity and I'll miss him a lot. 3. When I survived past day 2 in Mafia After Dark. It broke the early dying streak when I had a role that normally doesn't last very long.
