I think you're being too hard on the Build score. For a set with a fair number of Technic bits and functionality, it's really quite brilliant, IMO. Considering the set is designed for younger fans, it's amazing the build is so easy, yet still very satisfying. Seeing the windscreen lift up the first time brought a smile to my face, and I'm an old fogey compared to the folks who'll typically be playing with this. And the whole garbage lifting system...super clever stuff. I like a challenge, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to see such quick results too. As for the scale, it is minifig, but within the context of the theme, it's really it's own. Still, with a bit of modification I can see it roaming around Lego City along with the other utility vehicles. Thanks for the review!

omg. 4 vehicles including a tram and a bus, six minifigs...I want this set!!! :wub: Ack, so many Legos...never enough money! Edit: Forgot to add that I like the windshield for the new bus! Is that a new style?

I might give this a shot too. Of course, the minifig is cool, but my son really enjoys the TT/Lego video games and he might like this too. I wish I was in beta so I could see how "child safe" the persistent world is--I'm more worried about...unruly, or inappropriate...players than anything else. If it's pretty clean, then my son and I could play together.

Great review! Love the pics, especially the shot with the dropship--a nice touch. I never cared for the design of this vehicle, although Lego has done an admirable job of replicating it in brick form thus far. Like a few others, I'm not too excited about the tank so much as the awesome figures in this set (Aayala... :wub:), but there's a few nice play features like the AT RT inside. I also agree with those who feel the price is quite overstated, but like a lot of SW CW fans, I'm kind of stuck with it and will end up getting this anyway (although I may wait until a nice sale somewheres).

Awesome awesome! As a big CW fan (especially the current cgi series), I'm loving the new Grievous. This one is a must buy for me.

That's a clever mod! I hope if Lego ever releases a new version of the MTT (which I missed during my Dark Age), that it uses something like that!

Awesome review/preview! I don't know if 1 box is a reasonable yardstick of random probability in this case, but it's interesting to note nonetheless! I do hope ninjas really are a high chance, as I'd love a little ninja army. A little worried I'll end up with too much of figs I'm not so interested in though (crash dummy army...meh).

Aw yeah! Finally some nice hi-res shots. I mean, I was interested even with the blurrier, small shots, but I'm totally sold now. I really want the Cargo Train, but that Passenger Train is also really nice. Argh, so many Legos, so little money.

But haven't you heard...we're broke!! We just spend all our money on Legos and fast food! :skull: The irony is, I don't think I'll be able to afford even a Lego Shuttle.

Wow, minifig-scale shuttle! A nice way to send off the real thing as it goes into retirement! I dunno, I suppose if I had unlimited funds or got everything for free, I'd want to add this to my collection, but there's just too many sets coming out and something has got to give. It's going to be quite the collectible I imagine, so I'll keep my mind open...maybe if there's a super sale!
