'Certain Character' huh? Wouldn't happen to be Aeris would it?

I'd personally hope for a third faction that could be fit in like the Forest Men were in time of yonder. Perhaps an eastern faction, and you're right it would have to be tastefully done. What I would really like though is for more stressing on the village aspect of the Kingdoms line. I have all of these castles but I have no real peasant characters yet, and the Medieval Market Village is not in my budget right now. I have no problem building them shops but that still leaves me with a lack of people to populate them with, or livestock. How about just brigands in general? You could feature either faction in with fighting off brigands.

Thanks I try for funny : ) Everything turned out alright. I got moved in/out, that student woke up about 2 hours after I left (I was back in the lounge printing off paperwork when she woke up,) she went right back to studying. I found a friend, hitched a ride, got breakfast and everything was good. Speaking of Union I'm working here at the moment. Luckily my job entails surfing the internet for 4 hour blocks of time. Can you believe they pay me for this?

Your English is not unintelligible! Now if you are looking for unintelligible my German is unintelligible. Welcome to Eurobricks, home of the best LEGO news : ) Feel free to share your own creations and get comfortable because nobody ever truly stops playing with LEGO.

Your photography sucks : P Ha I'm joking. All I have is my camera phone : \ Your MOC is pretty darn awesome. The facade is great, the bar looks great. This might sound like a strange suggestion but perhaps make the storage area look a little more like a storage area? I mean crates, barrels, boxes and assorted bricks would make it really feel like a storage area. My only other suggestion is to perhaps make the karaoke speakers a little bit bigger. Seriously though this is great on its own without my suggestions. I'd buy it if it were a set and if I weren't dirt broke right now : \

Wow you really did drop a small fortune at the LEGO shop. Nice little town. I always wondered how it would roughly look like if someone put together all or most of the city sets. I love the modifications you did to the houses. I did that myself to a few of them. Question: did you add anything to the inside of the beach house like furniture or are they empty on the inside?

1. Yes the blue baseplate made a comeback near the end of 09. 2. Depends on what you want if you want to drop a lot of money. If you want to make a big diorama you're going to definitely need a lot of dark gray and gray for stones and something like that is best gotten from Pick a Brick at an official LEGO shop. If you want one generic brick that you're better off ordering it from Bricklink. Common items are sold there cheaper than at LEGO.com. I personally haven't ordered anything off of there but my brother has and has been happy with everything. Pick A Brick is probably your best option for getting a bunch of bricks for cheap but selection varies from store to store. Hope that helped.

The museum in town has a new display opening up! It depicts the early Caveman, wild and out in nature, cooking his food while utilizing those oh so precious tools like fire and wood that sets him apart from all the other animals out there. All are welcome to come and witness the caveman's early triumph over nature and encouraged to do so! Gawking and touching the glass like this young child is doing is NOT appreciated however. Hands off the display cases! Speaking of the display, where's the Caveman? My entry into this contest is for the Caveman minifigure. 8x8 plates, no collectible minifigure accessories, town setting.

This thread lives up to its title : )

Darn you lucky Europeans and your Amazon.fr. Haha makes me jealous. Very nice review. I'm pleased by the large variety of pieces and the larger parts used but I'm disappointed by the minifigures. I have so many of that one girl's torso I could make a small army. Are there no other female torsos out there?

Hello there. I know what you mean about missing out on some great sets. One year off I came back and I missed the Exo line...Wow was there a great line. Robots...robots..and more robots...drool.

Well the sun is coming up. I suppose in a few hours my little adventure will be over. I'm confused by the single student sleeping in here though. She must have a lot of faith in someone actually watching the security cameras.

Sun Maid Raisins, 30 grams of sugar. That Gatorade bottle 12 grams of sugar. How is this possible?! Update 3: I have learned that the Chinese kids slum it in here as well. This has become apparent to me by the large amount of blankets. Update 4: A few more hours left to go. Hopefully I can find more videos to watch. My friend Nichael has fallen asleep somewhere around here. I think he's in the laptop bag.

6889-1 Reacon Robot. When I think of my childhood and space, I inevitably think of this one. My favorite.

Just an observation, but pizza? Otherwise awesome. Where'd that Ronald Mcdonald minifigure come from? EDIT: Just realized how you made the 'M' and how you also used it in the chairs. Good work.

Ha its not big enough for a LEGO store and that's all that matters to me sad face, now sad minifigure face. Update #2 Surprisingly the amount of people in the lounge has increased to 9, with varying amounts of foreign exchange students filtering. Sadly none speak German, which would be of a great boon to me. Supplies remain steady, I wish I hadn't packed up all of my LEGO.

Its the same way for me. I love the tiny little ships they put out when I was younger. They were pretty much worthless as far as pieces or impressiveness went to be truthful but I loved them all the same.

Bravo sir, bravo. Quite ambitious.

Valparaiso University. Small university in NW Indiana. Damn expensive though. You think they could have let me stay a bit longer. The good news is my food is replenished, kind of. Pictures to come lol. Bam! Missing from picture: Raisins
