I have seen other advertisements from the 70s with LEGO being the subject but I don't think they were in any sort of comic frame setup. Awesome find for sure though. Strong silent men and girls for sure.

Ok but that does not seperate, let's say, a flat 1x2 stacked on top of another one. Or technic pieces that just refuse to come apart. Or my personal favorite: the minifigure head from the minifigure. Darn them!

The set isn't really the best for $30, true. But it does include a pretty convincing market scene, as well as offering a bunch of nice pearly gold pieces. Plus, my favorite, the CAMEL!

I'm going to have to go with a solid 'no' on the eating the LEGO pieces. I'm pretty sure I've dropped them, stepped on them, tripped on them and done many other things but nothing of the sort that you're describing.

You're probably going to have to make design your decal for the face if you want the mask. I can't think of anything that remotely looks like his mask. Nice minifig though. I remember playing Street Fighter and all of the following sequels and Vega was always the best looking I thought, if not best though the most vicious.

You run those redcoats out of America! Great MOC. I like the varied use of the minifig torsos for the colonists and the skeleton arms for smoke to propel the cannonball is brilliant. Kudos!
