Book II Chapter I-Into the Flames
IenjoyLego89 replied to C.J.Cutrone9's topic in Guilds of Historica
Good job C.J, I think you pulled off the barren look , but I do agree with MK, a little more texturing would bring it up another level -
Really cool castle I like the colours you used, gives it a very classic castle feel
-
Thanks for the blog Capt. Stabbin, really made my day Cheers mate it's not actually tiled. It is just standard 1x2 / 1x1 blue bricks turned on their side and slotted in the border, a gap is made so the boat can fit in
-
Thanks the base makes it look better than it is Cheers Settle it was my first moc so it took me awhile to figure it out Cheers Capt, you've reminded me to start another pirate moc soon when i get the time, it'll be a nice break from castle

Ooops! Clearly shapes ain't my strong suit Thanks maybe around Christmas I might have more...hopefully Why I thank you kind sir I wish I could take credit for the bird, I vaguely remember coming across it a few years ago. It is quite strong, its held in place by the two mountain sides, but it couldn't resist the pressure of been salvaged for parts

I've had this one sitting around for awhile so I decided to upload it. front back It's my first attempt at a round tower but i wanted to make it look like it was coming out the mountain side, plus I only have a small amount a Lego so I restrict the size of the base hence why its a half round tower I'm not really happy with how the top woodwork came out, but I might find a better solution another time. More pics can be found here: http://www.flickr.co.../107139195@N04/ any C&C welcome

Just a pic of my sigfig Victor Grayson and his horse http://www.flickr.co...04/10670379765/ Just a close up http://www.flickr.co...04/10670423075/ Credit for the wall goes to DC's building guide. I just wanted to see how it looked before I commit to using it in a Moc I'm in the process of building. Comments and criticisms welcome Also, how do I get the links from flickr to be images? If that makes sense Moc on!

Amazing! The detail is astonishing, i cant even imagine the time that must of gone into that. How long did it take?
-
Really good story and the mocs are so detailed. I agree with Nightstalker the light is mesmorising!
