recent weeks I just could not stop buying lego, (in US), Toysrus, Walmart, Amazon, Target. and it seems that the price is getting cheaper and cheaper. e.g. in Amazon, buy 1 get 50% off, but seems still a lot of in stock. I know PoP are not selling well because of movie. but how about Toystory sets? even 10197 and 10198 are still there? and some Starwars sets as well. at least 20% or more below MSRP.. Is this normal? or people are tired? and it starts to slow? what do you think?

Thanks all! Yes. I see some very good points. It really pissed me off one day when I came back home and saw almost all starwars ships were broken (that's after a 3 boys playdate - 7 years old by the way) I believe they had fun to swoosh and break them - that's the 'War', isn't it?. but fixing them is not. well maybe somebody think it is. I think I need to set some rules and will let them play. I will ask them to put things back and help to sort..

I know many AFOLs even do not let their kids (sons/grandsons) touch their collection. because kids (especially little ones) won't sort well after swoosh..

There are many many very good techniques/ideas from all the MOCs. I think if there is a reference about them that will be great. (such as Ralph_S did for several cars and doors). I know there might be too many of them (and still increasing). what do you think? do you have your own way to save them as a reference? Such as when you see a MOC picture and think - that's cool I could use it somewhere.then how do you record it? just save the pictures? Thanks, Mark

It seems that walmart(US) store has started clearance the PoP sets. about 25%-30% off original prices. YMMV. (price tags are still same. but scanner shows discounts)

Not yet. actually I never saw any PoP sets. they have a lot of ToyStory and some starwars.
