my first post of MOC here.. Start to run Strong. need to walk a little bit hit the wall.. really tired.. pour some water to cool down and drink some water.. yeah.. finish line! showing the medal! yeah I really need to rest..

I find majority people like City/castle/starwars etc. but very few people like sports themes , soccer (football in EU), basketball. I find the soccer players minifig is the cheapest? so does it indicate that most AFOL are not fans of sports? :)

I just sold all my 4+ figs on ebay.. just a few dollars. but better to throw them away or occupy space :)

I got similar problem for my X-wing fighter. it misplaced several pages (repeated some pages while missed other pages). quite upset actually. I contact TLG. but they said the instruction book is out of print so just directed me to online instruction :(

Sorry. no idea for your question. but just want to say I like running too :). you do not need to pay much. most expensive stuffs are the shoes. other gadgets are really optional. but of course nowadays the race fees are quite expensive also.. Keep running and bricking!

Thanks a lot meyerc13 for the suggestion. I think I am going for multi layer - we do not have much room at bedroom either . I will see how it goes. glad to know that there are other 'AFOL' who has preschool kids play with :)

Thank you hoeij, yes. the regular tables would be better. the reason I use 'kids' train table because my sons could play them too. and we do not have that big room. I am really curious about the display setting. so most of people just put layout in the ground? I do not feel comfortable somehow.. Thank you soc399 for the Andy's link. it is really awesome. hmm, I will consider do a two level thing. (I do not have many trains actually, and my 4.5v battery box stopped working :( )

Hi, fairly new. just started. attaching a picture (bad quality I know :( ). I am not very satisfied with it. so i am looking for some comments. 1) is it bad idea to use a train table to put TOWN/CITY layout? is it too small? because mine looks very crowded. or I should buy another train table so can create 2 towns? 2) how to put train inside? you can see I only can put a straight track. and train itself already occupies about 1/3 of the length. or do you think it is a good idea to lift them up (like monorail) ? Great article! I think I have another problem. I cannot resist if a set is on sale.. I bought a loot island set from walmart for half price. but never opened. and still have many sets I bought from fleat market/garage sale which I do not have time to sort/rebuild. maybe I should start to sale some of them..?

I agree.! no glue. However, maybe OT, I do have some LEGO (from sets or MOC) which I keep it for certain long time. I guess everybody does the same?

Thanks a lot Burman for the reply. Are you saying there is a stamp (Made in China?) under the minifig arm from magnets? I never notice that.

maybe really a newbie question. the minifig from magnet is cheaper. but I see some reviews mentioning about bad quality. is that true? to be honest. I could hardly tell the difference. so wondering if you guys buy a minifig from bricklink, would you able to tell if it is from magnet or from original sets? Thanks! Mark

new to here. maybe a stupid question. I have some Duplo (my sons grow up and do not play them that much any more). so I am thinking if I should sell them at BL/Craigslist (not sure if it can be sold well) or maybe can use some of them in MOC? Thanks! Mark
