  1. There are 3 topics on BL the 10134.... Here is mine, I went with grey, and a few RedBrown... I have also modded the engines. Waiting on a few pieces here and there. And also need to figure out window decal. Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled
  2. Very cool. I Think this will be a build where I take my time and gather parts here and there...I am more worried about the space it will take up.
  3. great idea. did you make the water slide decal?
  4. Also, what is the size of this beast? to build it is one thing.. but to store it takes space.
  5. awesome! done! Does anybody have a guess of the cost for this? estimate?
  6. Is there an LXF of this for a bricklink want list? and.... perfect instructions!!!! thank you so much!
  7. I have basically just finished... The problem I am having is the colors of parts.... the dark orange.... red brown to me just does not look right. I think i will be replacing all the bars with LBG Ucs Y Ucs Y Ucs Y I will snap some over all pictures soon...
  8. Cool, I got 4 of these used: and the rest i will do jumpers... i think it will look ok. maybe someday lego will release new colors. is there a site that tells what new colors or parts are out for each new year?
  9. I have having a hard time finding mod plate in RB I had an idea of using mod brick: with a RB 15573 attached. it might look weird though... thoughts?
  10. I got a few of the orange handles, way too bright. Anybody else? I'm thinking of reddish brown handle/grille, but the hassle are $1 usd each. Anybody else have a thought? I decided for 1 motorcycle rim. But was thinking of curved slopes attached to the rim... Just that and top bar lengths are my only issues... you used light saber for all the bars? I will post some pics soon.
  11. Can't wait to see pics. I love midi scale, cheaper to build, and takes up less space... and as for scale... haha. Ucs executor would be massive... and the mini fig malevolence...
  12. Does anybody have a wanted list file? roughly do we know the bricklink cost? too cool... has there been any updates since the PDF instructions?
  13. great idea. I did not think about: now, orange or reddish brown.... :) are you going to build this? I have started on a Brinklink 10134... with a few slight mods... but keeping to original.
  14. I like your update. I am not 100% sure on the rear engine. It looks like a lot of weight. The rear engine never looked right to me with the wheel anyways... as for these parts, do you have part numbers? I don't know what part you used for the orange/handle. "dark orange parts to bright orange (the 1x2 brick with handle is now a 1x2 plate with handle sandwiched between two 1x2 plates). " And... "The original engine pylons were constructed from technic axles covered with 7mm ribbed hoses that are now insanely expensive, so I’ve rebuilt the whole assembly using the 3L driving ring axle connector and white pin connectors"
  15. Has this build been finished?
  16. Thank you. Those rims will work for awhile. my next challenge is the copper hose. I do not want to spend $40 on hose. any other options? It really needs to be copper or brown...
  17. Cool, I bought 2 of these: do you have pics of yours mounted? they are a little smaller....
  18. I am starting to BL this set... i wanted it when it came out, and that was that... I am having trouble with 2 pieces... the wheel, i was thinking silver... the white wheel is $100+ and in white: any thoughts?
  19. I think I would like to try bigger gears 1st. the IR is a good idea too...
  20. has anybody figured out a way to slow it down? a bigger gear maybe? the way lego has it is too fast...
  21. Look up G scale outside, or garden railways. Our layout was on 2 covers of garden railways magazine. here is our photo and our layout on April 2003 cover: if you can go for Tenderlok's ideas. They are sooooooooo cool.
  22. I built a G scale layout outside with my dad, it has been out there for over 15 years. I highly recommend no lego's outside. the weather and sun will destroy tracks. even metal ones. Even LGB G scale track takes a beating. :)
  23. This set is a mix of other sets. Its too expensive. A child could never afford this set. Plus for what you get.... a shame..... the droids are cool though. :)
  24. I would like to see a pic of your red front as well. I was thinking of doing that to make it look more scale.
  25. I did mine sort of the same: Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr Untitled by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr wish i had yellow discs for the engines...
