  1. cool. i think for the money of this set, its better just to buy parts on bricklink. only good parts are the large wheels, and couplers. and maybe the dark grey doors.
  2. i think you guys have to remember this is a TOY, and supposed to look like a toy. i personally hate it.. but has anybody made something cool from the parts? is it worth it for the wheels and parts?
  3. yep, thank you. lost my bookmarks! :)
  4. cool, that helps. except i have 1 rc motor with no red. haha.
  5. is there a mii set database? awhile ago i found a site off here that had a ton of MOC mini's with instructions. its somebody here "i think in germany" if anybody has a link. and pics of other mini's
  6. any pictures of the inside? the guts and gears? and a XL or M motor?
  7. does anybody have pics to differ from the 2? i have 2 RC motors, one has a red bar and one dosent. i would like to get another motor but would like to get the newer PF, and not another RC.
  8. i may just go with the PF battery box. for temp. its cheap. i dont do track power. so looking for options other than that. and AA's are fine. i have a ton of recharge NiMH AA's.
  9. anybody else with pics with different battery boxes? not the liPo and other than 9v? some of us have moved on.... haha
  10. so is the only power option for the EN the lipo rechargeable? 75 USD!!!!! and the new train AAA box is not for resale thru lego?
  11. has anybody used the battery box 8881 vs 8878? looks like 8878 is a LiPo battery with 7.4vts. how many AAA batts does the 8881 use? or anybody know the vlts of 8881? 75.00 USD vs 7.00!!!!!!!!!!
  12. nice. i always loved F7's. black widows are my fav!
  13. thanks this will work. i forgot about peeron. thanks!
  14. is there a site somewhere that has higher res pics of the box art? or just pictures of the boxes? amazon has some lower res pics. and brickset has all the newer stuff without the box. anybody?
  15. wow! thats amazing. great build. and what tracks are those on? O scale? its not the same as lego right?
  16. I have had a G-Scale in the backyard for 11 years. HO and L would be a pain. the weather would destroy the Lego track. and the smaller the scale the harder it is to run out doors. due to the weather. the only pro for it being out doors would be battery power so you dont have to clean the tracks from oxidation. G-Scale is the garden scale!!! haha
  17. does anybody know if the LED PF lights will work with the older RC/9V? it looks like the same connection. 2x2
  18. beautiful. thats a monster! 8 wide looks more to scale of the tracks. 6 wide to me is more of a toy, but it works in lego world. great build!
  19. i agree about the price. what kid could aford 200 bucks for a train? lego again aims sets at spoiled rich kids, or adults who can aford it. on another note...... awesome set!!!!! i want it!!!!! and... great review!
  20. i agree, but this is cool because ts more like a stop, or part of a station. and when are trains coming to the US!!! :)
  21. The US gets the shaft for Lego trains. I hope they come over here. The RC trains were here and gone in a flash, and kinda hung around at the lego store. i would imagine the trains would come out with the other city summer sets.
  22. does anybody know when these are released? and in the USA?
  23. I have a gigantic G-Scale layout, and i have HO as well. you buy straight when you need it, and curve's when you need it. not in LEGO. LEGO, "SHOULD" make a set of 8 Straights, and a separate 8 Curve. and under 10 bucks for a pack. like... 7.99! common sense. right now on bricklink, its .20 cents for a curve, and 2.00 for a straight.(because there are so many curves out there). I wouldn't even care if the tracks were made in china, just bring the price down so everybody can build. AND, if this is "targeted" at kids. only the rich kids can have a train, every kid needs a train!!!!!!
  24. i found my own answer on brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=328898 if anybody wants to build the other models of 10183
