Anything in particular? This is supposed to be inside the temple where the main hallway goes through. I figured there had to be a lower level since some of the scenes had a high vantage point. You know where to find the interior details if you haven't done so. Well rather than just thinking about what to type, I'd appreciate better if you point out certain details that may have caught your eye. Or designs that you've never seen before that you found in these. AC

The force is not yet with you. AC

Looks like both of you have something in common and believe it or not I was like that when I started. First was to build the set (actually helping out my sons) and then on to building the alternate models if any, then to build something just using the bricks from the set. AC

Well, there's only tan and dark tan in there. Those are skateboard ramps. Practice, practice, practice! The design for this was started using the skateboard ramps. You can too by learning from these. You're supposed to follow the lead and start small by using the design/techniques from what you've seen. IIRC, this took a couple of weeks to complete. The clone battlepacks were not out yet at that time so I used the other legions to swarm the temple. I've actually done that back in the day but just stopped it when I found out that viewers were mainly just interested in the works (pics) not the blah, blah, blah. Kinda hard to also go back that far and try to remember what went into these at the time. As I do these as a hobby and get immense satisfaction working them until completion. So responses to my works are more icing on the cake and am not worried even if there are far fewer responses to them than other threads. But that's just me and feel free to ask any question in particular. AC

Interesting results thus far but I believe there's far more than just 30 members in EB that are into SW. Doesn't matter if you don't MOC that much, your vote still count! AC

Nope. Yes, that's the elevator shaft where Chewie is hiding. Sadly, all good things come to an end. You probably didn't click on the pic where you would have seen this.

What! No extra large scale? AC

Thanks for all your comments! Unfortunately, this was the last one done for the store displays. Even though they were a big hit with the customers, some suits from TLG deemed them inappropriate to display MOCs from a community of one. After all the time that these have been done, I'm always heartened by the fact that customers especially the kids still remember them and have asked if they'll be back. There's only so much room to fit in the display compartment all the details that were planned for. As the previous displays were such a hit, I've tried to kinda outdo the previous one with each new display. Kinda hard to get good pics with the display case as not all of the details from the top are visible. Actually, the store staff were swamped with inquiries about the ships and minifigs used in all of these displays. They would've sold a lot more except for the fact that the ships were not available anymore at that time. They were also asked if the displays were for sale. Do you think you can find Chewie in this display? Thanks! AC

You should be able to answer the next one faster. Get to the Yavin IV thread for it. AC

Don't know if the subject has been done before, so I'd like to get the ball rolling to find out where all the SW builders are! I build official sets (when needed), very rarely mod them and build MOCs all the time. Dioramas (duh!) are my primary builds, ships/vehicles (as needed), UCS (a long time ago), vignettes (rarely) and micro (once). Done mostly Licensed, historic, Sci-Fi and Town besides SW. AC

Dont' worry about it as nobody listens to these ramblings anyways! AC

I'll spare you the prolonged agony as the error is in the placement of the minifigs in the sub. Obi drives the Bongo not Qui-Gonn as you see in the pic that you provided. Better luck next time. AC

Wrong theme, though I must admit that I've been neglecting the Mecha theme for so long. Not posting planned MOCs (still in progress) but this one was quick and simple. Nope as you haven't been successful yet on your first one. AC

Wrong! Yes, it is! AC

Thanks! Strange at times that an idea like this just came up by accident and it was more build to see what it leads to. Unplanned but simple enough to get it done and liking the outcome. AC

Yes, most of the sand green bricks came from various HP sets and also from PoP sets. AC

Isn't it about time that you followed the lead? Make your own and feel free to use any design/technique that you've seen in these. No need to complicate this scene to deliver the message. I actually tried to do a comic just once and it was so cumbersome that I decided it was going to be the last. This maybe just a few seconds of screen time but it's iconic enough that it's easily remembered. I've already done Jar-Jar in the other scenes so I went for the correct Gungan warrior in this. This was really a quick build (less than two hours) and I've wanted to keep it on the 32x32 baseplate so I've opted to have the head lie down a bit more. That's probably why it's not easily recognizable at first since the forehead should really be up by at least four more studs. AC

A simple MOC done last night and be sure to click the pic for more... AC

They've already gotten past that speeder in the scene. What you're looking for is actually in the pic that you posted! Yes, the buildings are not exactly the same buildings in those pics but they were done following the same theme. AC

Thanks again for all your comments and I always add the year in the description for old MOCs posted. Better check the new one posted. AC
