One at a time, sometimes more... Most are from the past as I've just joined EB this year. But they've been done over time for at least a month at a time. The rework takes a lot longer to add details and like this one where the floor was done first before everything else. That glow is due to the lights underneath and as for the picture quality the camera I had at that time had very low resolution. Maybe I should just post the same MOC over and over again. Seriously though this is one MOC that I'll be updating in the future. AC

Lucky you, I've never got any grey bricks from the store. Lately, there's nothing much to talk about the PaB wall inventory that have shown up. AC

You should be clicking on the main pics to get through to the webpage where more pics are to be found. Thanks! AC

I better not mention anymore the other stuff I've got from the PaB wall. As I've mentioned in the other scenes, these are presented as individual scenes which will be merged into one final scene. Visualize it by combining all the Theed scenes together. Can you see now which one I'm referring to? Don't know if you've seen the previous MOCs that were integrated into this. More to come... AC

Yes and I take it that you've seen this pic. Anything smaller just won't do it justice. Thanks! Those were really put in for humor and most viewers aren't aware of them since they only look at the main pic. There's much more to see in these and it's just a click away. AC

That's also where I got most of the plants that I've used for the Endor dios. Plus it's good to know the store personnel too! AC

I do agree that it's next to impossible that TLG would produce a set that would have that many minifigs or it would cost a lot if they did. But the piece count should not be an issue as we've already seen the UCS sets that have more pieces than this one. AC

I do agree 100%! Both of you should also stop as it doesn't help at all. It's a fact that people will vote for whatever reason they believe in. As the criteria for the contest is wide open, so expect that the voting will be the same. It's not like the entries have to be voted based on specific categories (i.e., originality, accuracy, design, etc.) and that voters must consider them. Just wait until the voting period ends and live with the verdict whether you like it or not. As I will. AC

I've actually been asked after the medium entry was done if I was going to finish the complete scene. So here it is! PaB wall! Yes, I did! Been able to watch a few scenes from the OT during the weekend. Having a lot of bricks without a purpose doesn't mean much. Once I got these from the PaB wall I knew that they would be put to good use over and over again! Apparently the battle droids don't have much smarts. AC

Fyi. This was done even before TLC had designs on it. Really? Hasbro rebel helmets! Looks like you've clicked on the pics. No rebel troops at that time yet, so I make do with what I got. That Mon Calamari minifig look simple enough but took me awhile to figure out! Yes, they do. Yeah, still got a lot of stuff on BS. Always trying out different ways for hard-to-use pieces. Another one just done! I'm sure you did take a look at the other pics. AC

You're replying in the wrong thread. Unless you were actually looking at the FBTB SteamWars contest. AC

Thanks as for most little details are often overlooked and I appreciate the fact that you were able to focus on those. Btw the other piece you mentioned is also a hinge which is at the end of a 1x2 plate. There are also better pics of the separate buildings in the first link if you haven't seen them yet. Practice, practice, practice! It also pays to study the available reference material for the scene intended to be built. Then there's always an inherent atmosphere to every scene that the overall work must be able to convey, in this case Theed for me evokes classic elegance. Never be satisfied with the initial build as I always go back and rebuild as necessary any detail that may have been overlooked at first. Good luck to you as well. AC

Yes, it's the #1 question I keep getting asked about. The answer remains the same as "They stay built until it's time to reuse the pieces for a newer MOC!". That's why I take a lot more pics than I post so that I can remember exactly the design/techniques that I've used in the build. Boonta Eve was followed by Mos Eisley which now will be followed by Theed. Yes, as soon as I saw the PoP sets that gave me new ideas for using the new pieces much like when I first saw the HP sets. There's not enough space to fit them in this scene. AC

The main pic of any MOC just gives you a glimpse of the work, the details are better seen in the links provided. AC

Be careful what you wish for! This was during the invasion of Naboo so the tan CIS tanks are the appropriate color. Start saving those $$$! This was the last one I did as separate MOCs before the final build. Need more of them! Practice, practice, practice! I'll build most vehicles/details for a scene if it hasn't been done yet. Not really interested in modding existing sets. AC

You should try commenting on the features that you like about it next time. AC

I based my design from the early pics of the Turbo Tank and didn't know that TLC was releasing a set for it. Now go build one! If they were paying attention, they should have! AC

But you should try, everybody else does. Be careful what you say as the contest is just heating up! All three entries remain true to the scenes, no gimmicks necessary to portray them. Are you kidding me? Good luck to you as well. Now there's the voice of reason. Simple details can sometimes have a bigger impact and most won't notice that except you did. There's a method to my madness and you'll see it all someday. AC
