I haven't done much in Classic Town but will try to build in the same theme as that MOC. Will try my best. Thinking of doing something else later in the year. Will keep on brickin! You can always go back on the site for more. AC

Agree! This will have to wait until next month. Clearance sales Believe me, I'm not that young anymore. More or less as that's all I can fit into the large baseplate. AC

That sounds weird but funny! It was deliberately intended to make use of the yellow minifigs. Small only at the start! That's for next month as I'll finish off this month with the other scenes connecting to this. It's always good to add little details to complete the whole scene. AC

Inside the Theed hangar along one of the Naboo Starfighter bays, the battle droids offer least resistance against the rebels led by the two Jedi. The second MOC in a series of Lego Star Wars Modular Buildings. Click the pic for more details... AC PS. Here's an older version of the same scene.

WOW, has it been that long since I posted my first MOC here? Time surely passes by swiftly when you're having such a good time and I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. 2010 MOCs 2011 MOCs Here's to more years of MOCing to come... AC

Yeah, but it's gonna take awhile feeling through those packets to have even one legion. It took a few rebuilds for the roof before I settled on this design but so worth it! I wanted to use a different design for the top of the columns and tried several other variations until this one. Just got lucky to have gotten the minifigs early. AC

See how LEGOman273 got it! Not really columns but more like refueling stations as the tubes/hoses are connected to them. You got it! Why not for SW? There's far too many vehicles produced and rehashed but no decent buildings done. I'm planning to do one every week as these are fairly small. I've actually done the front of this building before without interior details. I'd rather not use the fleshie ones. Yes, they do open and close as there are two hinges on each side. It helps to use some good reference pics for the scene to make sure that the correct characters/details are in place. What now, you forgot that those came from the swamps? Haven't seen it yet, how do the podracers look like in 3D? AC

An obscure building near the plaza reveals a secret entry to the hangar where the rebels have overrun the battle droids guarding the entrance with the aid of the two Jedi. The first in a series of Lego Star Wars Modular Buildings. Click the pic for more details... AC

I appreciate all your comments on this old work but it's good to check with the Admins first when trying to bump an old topic. You can always view and enjoy anytime my other works from the site. FYI. This is not an entry for the CB and the only building that remains intact is the one on the left of the Gungan sub. AC

Thanks all for your comments! You should all try to build in the other themes from time to time. AC

Yah, he's lost! Going to take a lot longer than expected but I'll have a new smaller MOC out before this. AC
-
Yes, it is! Not happening anytime soon. Have you seen it up close? You've got an eye for spotting details! Nice to get some input from another Fellow! AC

A Gungan banished! The day that would live in infamy when everybody turned their backs away from Jar-Jar! Not really, just sorting them out for Gungan something, something MOC! AC

Unconventional use for your extra BDs! Check the completed MOC... AC

Thanks for the vote of confidence but it's not for me to decide. Until the next one comes along! As promised. The roof! AC

The building has been completed and all that's left is to get the minifigs posed plus some minor details. Pics will be taken afterwards and should have it posted by weekend. AC

It's just been a couple of years that I've started posting my works as I went on a self-imposed hiatus in late 2008 thru 2009 for reasons I won't disclose. That's exactly the same response that the Lego store staff had to answer when my works were on display. At least he's got plenty of reference works to start with as the LSW forum got a lot from the various members as well if you check the MOC index. My advice is to start small and with a familiar scene so that it will be easier to compare it with the completed MOC. AC

I'm so in! All I have to do now is find the boxes where I stored the Gungans. AC

Keep posted for updates... It's still a WIP and I'm aware of that. Only LSW forum regulars can know that! More to come... You'll have to wait and see, unless you've already imagined what that pillar looks like. Thanks and I do know about it as I just have to crack open some S5 gladiators. Another LSW regular! AC

Small army for starters and it will get bigger! Both. You're right on! AC

During the height of the Roman empire, it was a common sight to behold the Legionaries led by the commanding Centurion depart for new campaigns after visiting the temples. Click on the pic for more details! Posted January 30, 2012: The eagles have landed on the roof top... Posted January 27, 2012: I am a Roman Centurion like my father before me... Still a WIP that goes together with the lion statue. AC

Not anytime soon! Beat them to it! You should and be sure to post it here in EB. That's for Spartans not Romans. They're starting to show up in the stores so go get them! Tried to do it based from some pics on the web. Me too and thanks for the history lesson! Shhhh! You're blowing my cover! I should've read more about them. Have you shown your son the rest of the site? Though 75% of my works are SW themed,I do the other themes from time to time. I do appreciate you mentioning about your son liking my works as it brings back memories of the kids whom I've met and talked to when the Lego store had some of my works on display. AC

Yes, that's still a WIP. Check the other post for an update. Thanks for the pic but I've already some the mods to the front legs and will reveal it when the MOC is completed in a separate post. AC
