  1. You guys have been spoiled too much! I've just gone through two months of work on these and you're already asking what's next? C'mon gimme a break... Yes you did! AC
  2. Very well done and I thought nobody would catch the tiles for the shadow part but you did! I have to refine that better when I have more baseplates to extend the interior. Welcome to my world and take your time to go through the site when you can to view previous works. As for those rock panels, did you notice how the second level are upside down? I really didn't want to rush the remaining details as the Orrays were last minute additions together with the brick-built drones. After I've done the first wall unit, it was just a matter of replicating the design for another five units. But that's easier said than done. As mentioned above, the transition to tiles was intended to show the shadows. Truly satisfied the way it turned out. Thanks for the blog! AC
  3. Short notice but I'll be at the Goryeb Children's Hospital Benefit Sunday, June 10th 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Madison YMCA 111 King’s Road Madison, NJ How it looks like in separate parts as a sytems check is done to ensure that there are no missing pieces from the previous show. AC
  4. I saw both the 1x2 trans black and 1x2 trans clear but did not buy them. I'll need to get more of the 2x2 round trans light blue and I also remember seeing 2x2 round trans light green. AC
  5. Yes indeed, I was looking at the screen caps when the beasts were released one by one from the caves. I actually planned on having a couple more wall units so that it curves at the other end where the prisoners are located. That balcony started the whole design scheme with the stalacties and the upper portion of the arena. AC
  6. Back at the Jersey Gardens store yesterday and got one large cup with 2x2 dark tan tiles, another with round 2x2 light blue bricks. AC
  7. C'mon people, say something! Like what part do you like best or not? AC
  8. Look who's talking! I won't ever attempt at building another ship without you looking at my back! AC
  9. I'll be there Saturday morning from 9:00AM until 1:00PM. Store opens at 10:00AM and not sure what time the mall opens to let people in besides the workers. AC
  10. There are no guarrantees in life, but I'll try my best. AC
  11. Easier said than done, but I'll be able to do more when I bring it to a show. AC
  12. That's Tagalog which is a local dialect in the Philippines. Be careful what you wish for! Say something and stop drooling! AC
  13. There's a lot of Imperial officers that had to be sacrificed to achieve that! I tried to make them look as organic as possible. There are actually four basic wall units, the other two are almost identical to but mirror images of two from the four basic ones. The corridor is actually there and Mace is just waiting inside but not shown in any of the pics. Between this and the hangar, my tan brick supply is almost exhausted. You should know me by now that I'm a retro fan of the yellow classic minifigs. Nice to see you back on the boards KimT. Maraming salamat Kiel! Haven't planned on another scene yet to make use of the background as I intend to bring this to some shows. One issue I have is the space to accomodate more action in the arena. Yes, there's a mix of the old and new Geonosians together with the brick-built ones. Foot print is two by four large baseplates and I really need more space... If I had the space for it, I would have done it! The design of the arena essentially was made to be consistent with the earlier smaller MOC and the balcony put together. It was one of the issues that I had to face when I posted the final teaser pic. How am I going to fill up all the space with just a dozen or so Geonosians? AC
  14. Hmmmm sounds interesting, should I enter or not? That is the question. AC
  15. Completed! AC
  16. Just received notification that this project Creator Sets: Star Wars Arena Beasts has been reviewed by the Lego reps and now published in Lego CUUSOO! Please support if you want these beasts to become real sets. Posted: June 7, 2012 The Petranaki arena, also known as the Arena of Justice and commonly referred to as the Geonosian execution arena, was brought about by both a need for entertainment in the rigid Geonosian society, and an efficient way of disposing of otherwise resource-draining prisoners. The most popular attractions used deadly beasts in combat, resulting in the extinction of some of the more crowd pleasing creatures on Geonosis. CLICK ON THIS TO SEE THE LARGER PIC! Click on any image to see more details! AC
  17. Found these today at the Bridgewater mall store but didn't buy any. AC
  18. Just a little bigger footprint than the hangar scene but definitely taller! More details to be added and the action scenes to boot... Just a few more days to go. AC
  19. Main structures done and laid out but there's more work to be done before the final shoot. Give me another week or so! AC
  20. Already got the Star Wars moduler series on CUUSOO and this is just another example of it. AC
  21. The ceiling is really just the new piece to this scene as I just had to clone the wall/window module. The possibilities are endless if these modules were available as sets. How long a hallway do you want it to be? How many floors do you need for the palace? And so on... AC
  22. No clue yet for the Sunday minifig, I'll update this thread when I find out more details. AC
  23. Additional scenes completed! AC
  24. The closest gate would be "D" where the tourist/public buses drop/pickup passengers. I'll find out more about the hours when the mall/store opens as the date gets closer. Be sure to drop by the build for SpongeBob and help out if you can. AC
