Mafia School: Cirque du Freak conclusion
Peanuts replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Weren't you yourself female in your own game? -
But you'll just have to defeat the one with the least health and the two with the highest health will automatically vanish. But still, good luck with those enemies! You'll need it.

I'd like to know if there is any way how we can remove the dirt from the note? In my experience paper is quite resistent against soil. But I think I get the general idea of the note. Sounds a bit like one of the adulterers hasn't been has tried to end the carry-on to me. Shall we move on to the bathroom while we try to identify the handwriting? I'm getting bored. I'd like to apply some of the perfumes.

"Thank you for leaving me that rapier. It's a wonderful weapon, I'm sure it will be of great use and slash lots of enemies." "Oh, and let's start with Draco! I'll attack him from the front row! Your chaotic whip won't help you against a highly homicidal rogue!"

I'd like to search the make-up counter.

That's so true. Honestly, we'll pay 60€ for that Two-Face set, that's more than $80! I really think those prices are fair, especially compared to some other licenses and other countries.

Maybe we should give it to the mayor, as he's not in our group but seems to be trustworthy (or at least as trustworthy as a politician can be). And yeah, let's spent some more time at the police station! As we all love the police station.

Mafia School: Cirque du Freak conclusion
Peanuts replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It was a very fun game to follow, although it was quite messy at some points. Especially the first few days... Anyway, congratulations to the winners and especially the host for hosting this game. I'm sure I wouldn't always have had the patience he had. I'm exctited to see who passed and who failed, but most likely not as excited as you players. But I think I can already guess some grades, which won't be very surprising. Anyway, I'm afarid there's some minor thing I'll have to complain about, I think dividing the players in "winners" and "losers" isn't quite correct, it should be "survivers" and "dead ones", as in fact the town wins. But I#m just nitpicking, you ran a great game, badboytje! -
Really? It's not like there wasn't enough garbage in our house, now you also want to bring live arms? Oh, and I'd like some of you guys to force Jeremy to give us the password. We really don't have time for that.

Okay, I seem to be able to post again. I again apologize for not doing anything yesterday.

"Of course I wouldn't object getting the sword, but I'm also fine with you getting it. But if you take the sword, please hand me those blasted shurikens. And I thought I wouldn't have to fight with them ever again."
-
I won't decide it all by myself, so far I'm only suggesting. Although I don't think anyone will be against pushing that lever.
-
"Let's push it, shall we? I'd hate to disobey our captured party leader's orders. And Lady Wren'll try to kill us anyway. And it looks like there are no anagrams or other riddles this time. Or at least I hope so. "

Outstanding entry! While the Jack-in-the-box is clearly the star of your MOC, the face of the building also appeals a lot to me. Excellent details there. The hairpiece of the Joker reminds me a bit of the version in the The Batman series, even though I didn't like the series and therefore barely watched it. Looks good anyway. Is the head purist?

Happy Birthday, Penguin! Sorry for being late.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Peanuts replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I think they said it won't appear in season 4, which I'm happy about. In my opinion Mortis wasn't that bad, but I'd be glad if they wouldn't bring it back. Doing it once is okay, but twice would be a nightmare. But I believe I could enjoy it because I don't care about canon or logic anymore. To be frank, Lucas isn't the only one to destroy the canon, but everyone else is using rock hammers, while Lucas is using a sledge, metaphorically speaking. I don't mind Mandalorian episodes either, their only problem is that they were the reason why the Republic/Imperial Commando were discontinued. Besides that they aren't really bad. But about every episode with Padme in it is predetermined to be silly. Every episode depicting politics is simply horrid, because obviously in the SW universe politics means someone tries to kill someone, and fails if the target is Padme, or Padme tries to introduce some super bill which would solve all the Republic's problems, but everyone shouts at the same time and nobody hears her. Oh, and the whole Dathomir, Savage Opress, Darth Maul and Ventress plot is the second worst thing they've done in my opinion. That's far worse than Mortis and Mandos. -
"Sorry, but I'd still rather stay with Jess than with you. It's nothing personal, I just don't trust your leadership competencies." "And of course I'd never mutiny against an officer." Henry salutes to Jess.

Er, I seem to have a problem with replying to the actual Chapter 6 thread. Everytime I try to reply, a red bar appears, just as the one which appears when you try to post twice in between 30 secs, but without any words in it. Sorry. But obviously I still can post in other threads.

"So I gain only one mere gold?" Henry asks, angrily. "Damn that barbarian, nearly killing my enemy!" Henry grumbles. "Yes, let's keep moving. I don't want to lose any more health than necessary. Let's go back via the unexplored route."
-
Yeah, but the case file focused on Branhouser and you, Chief. But I assume I'm barking at the wrong tree again. Shall we head back to the Police Station, everyone? Anyway, I'd like to examine that red fish thing.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Peanuts replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I've watched Umbara recently, and I liked it a lot. Krell makes a good "antagonist", even though he's on the side of the Republic. He ignores the value of a good strategy, doesn't care about his men and fatally underestimates the rebel population, which creates a mood of desperation. The clones have no real choice but following his orders, and I wonder where that's gonna end up. This is the first 4-part arc of the series, isn't it? That was exactly what I was expecting from the series, it just got a lot better. I almost think they were starting off with the silly episodes just to get them off the stove. Too bad Maul will follow soon. Anyway, did someone else spot some paralleles to the war in Vietnam? Of course it might very well be coincidence, but this whole stuff with large Y-Wing bombardements, the rebel militia supported by the CSI, booby traps and ambushes, well, it just seems similar. And together with Krell as incompetent CO, it kinda reminds me of the Platoon movie. -
I know, but what happened before he went home? Can we get an overview of this whole case? By the way, shall we go on to the den?
-
After thinking about it, Henry decides to fight from the front row. Avoiding risks may be all well and good, but not a quarter as good as gaining more gold.
-
That would imply whatever damage you did to the enemy is how much gold you get. So I guess that also means if you attack with a throwing weapon from the back row, you'd get more gold if you rolled Mug than if you had with a short-ranged weapon. Seems like you're right. I'll have to change my decision then. Thanks anyway.

Congratulations! Hope you have a great day!
