General Discussion and Announcements

Huh, a Gotham City mafia game. Sounds great, really. I planned to take a break from mafia games, but I can't resist this one. Oh, and congrats for your Koilette tag, Flitwick. Really, awesome roleplaying -
I'd have to ask the host jog my memory if I know. Sorry, Officer. No offence meant.
-
Likely? You ought to know what you did. Anyway, looks like you were very thorough in the appartment. I can't think of anything left to search. I'll get some more popcorn in the grocery store, then let's go to the firehouse.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Peanuts replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Maybe they just act primitive to piss foreigners off? Another point where TCW completely unnecessarily ignores the existing canon is about some alien races speaking basic. It's not just Greedo, it's also the Trandos or Ziro the Hutt. While it makes sence that Jabba uses a Protocol Droid, I wouldn't mind some subtitles either. -
"I'd of course love to pay lots of gold for the sake of the party, but unfortunately I only own 5. But I'd like to ask Cronk to ask Lucas to stay with the party after we've bought the map, just in case it's not that accurate. I don't trust him, and after all, he could try to sell us anything. But he's got a point about us better trying to avoid future battles."

I don't think there's much left on this floor. There is no second floor, is there?

I'd like to look for blood stains on the knife, the axe and the shovel. I'd also like to look inside the fireplace for anything that might have been burned recently. Of course, I'll dowse it before-hand. Why do you keep the fireplace burining when you aren't at home? Isn't that a bit dangerous?

Congratutlation, you two, I know you deserve it. And also congrats to Scouts, for getting it twice. -
As I said before, I'm in favor of the appartment. Would be a waste of time not to go there, since we're already there. And as that stupid agent has pointed out, we've wasted more then anough time so far.

"Well, provided we don't pay him extra money for staying out of the battle, we'll even have to kill him. Unless we actually pay him, in this case, we maybe can ask Hans to make sure he doesn't leave while we're fighting. But of course I'm also fine with beating the price down. Figurative, of course."

Lovely pics, Sandy. Although Henry's missing his captivating grey eyes. Nice to see he's standing up high, though. Practically among the top ten.
-
Henry whispers back: "I understand you intend to achieve a good starting position for haggling, but why haggle if we can kill him anyway? Haggling will take time, I suppose, and we don't have much time left."
-
"Why so stingy? Once we've escaped, we can kill him either way and get our gold back."
-
That's interesting, two killers. Or at least one killer and one witness. Too bad the quality is that bad. Now, what's the use of a surveillance camera if the quality is so crappy you can't see who commited the crime? But maybe we'll find out more when we evaluate the second one. I see nothing against having a look at Officer Jackson's appartment, now that we are here.

"Damn that cleric, we're running out of time. Do you think Lady Wren was fooling us? After all, Felton said the cleric would come up after eight fights. " "Lucas offer seems fair to me. I am for accepting it."

I hope these will be overworked, and I suppose "Double Face" indicates they actually will. The Catwoman Set doesn't contain much. The bike looks a bit like the original one, but smaller. The newspapers are nice, the traffic light isn't bad either, but all in one it's just not much. Practically all about the figs. But it's the same with the other vehicles, I mean, how do bane and a driller fit together? And why does batman keep Ivy as a prisoner in his Batcave? But the Batcave contains some useful stuff, though. But i would have expected more figs, such as the first one containing Alfred and a Bruce Wayne figure. The Joker Set looks like a smaller version of the first Joker Set. But the bang flag is missing, which was a nice touch of the elder version. The helicopter doesn't look that good either. The propeller blades are too big, while the helicopter itself is too small. But maybe that's just me. Best set yet is the Two-Face one IMO. Unfortunately I already have the first one, but I might get it as well. It contaisn a small Bank, which isn't much, but at least some civic scene, and this time there are two thugs. The Batmobil's wings don't look that good, but the rest is well done. Two-face Truck is a bit too bulky in my opinion, and I prefered the first one, but I can live with it. I myself also prefered the black-white over the orange-purple, but that's a matter of taste. But I think I can get used to the different look.

While you're popping that Popcorn for Ashley, could you please get me some more Popcorn? Popped, please? Mine is empty, I didn't foresee you people would need so long to play a mere tape. Come on, I want entertainment!

Fraulein Bloodbrick: The Conclusion
Peanuts replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm sorry about that. Well, sort of. But it was mainly funny because you were one of the best roleplayers. I really love what you did with you and Koilette. I didn't realize I could have used the pill so that people I considered scum would eb careful not to get a penalty. I guess it must be really hard with the double talk pill. -

To be honest, I didn't expect a conversion. No offence, but I think there's too many games including conversions, but of course hosts are free to design their own games. Well, the town didn't play very well. I had the impression, some people hadn't figured out how the meds worked up to day 3, but that's just my impression. I'm of course not saying I knew everything about it, I was also surprised to read there was a gun inventor med. Well, I feel kinda stupid for falling for Hinck's defense, when he produced that framing theory, I should have voted for him directly. And now I see how the thief would have helped the town (I also see how DMT would have helped, which I considered absolutely useless for townies), it makes sence. Was the conversion a one-shot ability? -
I'd like to get myself some popcorn and something to drink, while my father is looking for a VCR, and take a front-row seat in case he actually finds one. I'm sure you wont need me in order to find a VCR, Dad, if you even can find stuff in the junkyard you call a workroom.

Wow, the idea with the trees is brilliant. Took me a second to find out how it was done. Also, some great landscaping there. The bridge looks very nice. Lovely MOC.

In this case, let's move to the Grocery Store and analyze those footages. I'm curious what we'll find. Does any of the two cameras record the fountain?

"I believe we should try and make a deal right now, but we shouldn't pool the money or buy the map yet, but only when we've successfully overwhelmed the guards. If we pay him before our escape attempt, he might help his fellow guards fighting us. So whoever talks to him, should make sure he understands he'll get nothing if we die. And I'm in favor of you handling this precarious situation, a bit of diplomacy would help us bargaining."
-
Let's hope that smart-alec agent finds out something. If he's as good at investigating as at criticizing others, he should have solved the case by noon. Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning who lives near the fountain.

"Sounds like ranger Docken should talk to the Barbarian. It's not like he won a fair fight, but at least he's slain his enemy, and that seems to be the only thing that matters to the Barbarian. But we might have an advantage if Hans knows the guard and can talk him into helping us." Will it take time to check how many guards there are? Even if it does, I'd like to do so, as we seem to have plenty of time.
