  1. It appears to me we are done in the house. I suppose we should continue checking the garden and the surroundings?
  2. I thought Robbie was at James' house? How can he reply to that question?
  3. "Yeah, I wasn't told there would also be mages at Heroica when I signed up. And even if I was, I never would have imagined there's so many of them. Well, I'm a person that prefers close combat, as was my Dad. I can live with throwing and shooting weapons, I even use some when necessary. But magic, well, it's just...strange, hurting or killing someone out of distance just mumbling a spell with some gem. The ones here at Heroica at least aren't as megalomaniac as the one my father encountered, but it's still...scary, and every time I see a mage doing a spell I feel reminded of my parent's death. And then comes the hatred for them...and paired with my homicidal nature, I tell you, that's a very unhealthy state of mind."
  4. If you want to...I'm trying to do some character development... "Not to mention a party of only mages and clerics would certainly have certain weaknesses." "And I have no problem with the Ziegfrieds themselves, I never had any business with them, as I'm always trying to keep away from them mages. It's mages in general I dislike, due to the reason I mentioned earlier, my past with a certain mage causing the death of both my parents without them having any chance of defeating him. It's just not fair, killing by magic. And unnatural too. And I hate mages in general. And believe me, Lady Wren constantly using magic to take our health away didn't do any help about that matter."
  5. Henry sees his friend has signed up for quest #14 and approaches him: "I believe they will take rogues alright, Thotwick. But I'd never work for a bunch of mages! On the other hand, you have to know your enemy, right? And the money...1000 gold. And I've already spent all my gold at the marketplace..." He thinks a bit about it, and finally comes to a decision: He walks to the questboard and writes his name under quest #14. While he turns his back on the questboard, he says: "Yes, I've got to know my enemy, but yet I hope, I won't be taken," not addressing anyone special, but rather trying to convince himself.
  6. You're of course right, we shouldn't just sit around and wait for the day to end. That way we wouldn't be likely to gain any information at all by tomorrow. But right now we already have come forward a bit thanks to Baby Doll's reveal.
  7. And what kind of a vote do you try to achieve on day one? If you manage to get a conviction, you'll most likely get an aunanimous one. So why are you advocating a convcition on day 1 if you think it's scummy?
  8. I wonder why no one has pointed out my apparent error. I am perfectly aware some of you don't deserve the attribute "homo sapiens", but there should be some brighter ones among you. To clarify, not only a split vote, but also a scum conviction can provide evidence. And I agree with the Creeper that the scum certainly won't influence the vote, unless they are afraid of a conviction in their disfavor. But I still think we should refrain from a conviction, we can easily tie the votes under the minimun required for a letal end to the day. I am very surprised about Baby Doll's revealment. I doubt she'd be stupid enough to invent something that can be proven wrong so easily, but I won't trust her completely until tomorrow. But if this is true, it will be a good chance for the town to organize our actions. While I have also read about those odds Scarface mentioned in the paper I read before, I never believed they were applicable but under ideal conditions. Also I would have assumed at least 6 rats among us, but of course I'm only guessing based on the evaluation of standard procedure of the GCPD and the aforesaid paper about similar situations. I'll have to check this number back, though. But yet this is a special situation, so the number of scum can be different.
  9. I'd like to have a description of the second floor then, since I believe we are finished here.
  10. It's because it's the essential question we have to ask ourselves on day one. I don't know yet if "majority vote" means more then 50% of the votes is required for a lynch. If so, I say we tie the vote under the 50% mark. If not, you're right, there is nothing to debate about. We'd have to convict someone today.
  11. Oh, I'm all in favor of analyzing behavioral patterns. I am even the only one of us who's actually good at that. So I don't say we should just sit around, but I say, we shouldn't kill anyone of us without even the slightiest evidence. You already pointed out, the agents would propably not be stupid enough to slip up right now. Something like that, yes. I can see you're sceptical about evidence coming up and I guess you're afraid that the scum will gain an advantage over us, but I still think we should try to avoid a conviction. I don't trust any of you to convict an agent, as not even I am capable of figuring them out at the moment.
  12. I'd like to skim through the "Grillionaire" book looking for any marks, notes or anything out of order. Shall we head upstairs afterwards?
  13. Matter is people keep slightly-educated-guessing wrong. And I'm afraid some of you psychopaths might prove useful against those agents. Well, not afraid, but worried. Sadly I'm not afraid of anything. It certainly has been. But I used to be in favor of guessing slightly-educated, as you say, but in fact, that paper showed me it's better not to do so. We won't gain any voting pattern, either, if anyone keeps voting for the same person. Only a split vote can provide a voting pattern. I'm saying this because I anticipate some of you will come up with that. I asked the same question the same about most "villains" being here. Great. But the Scotch sounds good, though. I'll also take one.
  14. I don't think we should even consider not voting, as it is said voting was mandatory. And majority vote means you need more than 50% of the votes for a conviction, doesn't it? I don't think we should actually convict someone at all. I can see we're all afraid of dying tonight, but our chances to pick scum on day one are pretty bad. In fact, I've once read a paper about how people react to similar situations, and while the author certainly was not as good as me at psychology, it proves, that people tend to kill people based on the annoyance they cause rather than on actual scumtells. A prominent example featured was a psychotic named Carl Pie, who was killed for constantly calling others shithole and talking nonsence. And Penguin, didn't you say those stuff was for free? You liar! Anyway, I don't have any time for such distractions, while I have to keep us alive, figure the scum out and improve my formula.
  15. I'd like to check inside the refrigerator.
  16. Uh, poor Officer Hutch. Does that mean there's now one suspect less? I wonder if he had survived if he would have added more to our investigations... Well, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, let's go on.
  17. I don't like that title. Could we change it to "Operation catch Batman alive and give him to Dr. Crane so that he can research thoroughly how Batman reacts to fear"? You can slash his goons if you have to, but I want the Bat!
  18. Scarecrow's checking in. Let's get this over with, alright? It's not like I had experiments to run or something.
  19. Yes, let's go. I'm gettind bored again. Let's stop wasting time and search some houses, guys!
  20. Your plan seems alright, Jackson. I suppose I'll sign up for James' house, then.
  21. They look nice. I might settle for the Black Knight right now, but I'll have to wait for further description. And the last three advanced classes, of course.
  22. Oh, I completely forgot about this. In this case, I'm all for going to Robbie Swanson's place first, as he's more of a suspect than James. How old is Robbie?
  23. And we still know that there was a person with brown hair involved, which, even if it doesn't affect the first question, still affects the second, the reason why the chief was killed. As there are only three people with brown hair among us, it can be either Alex, who is dead and was involved in the adultery affair, Jackson, who at least had something to do with the scum, as they tried to kill him too, and Dad, who seems unconnected to the crime, as we found nothing in our house and nothing else interesting which he would be involved into. In my opinion, he just seems to be a boring old man collecting junk, as we found absolutely nothing against him, and even the smartest killer must have left some evidence, otherwise we woudln't have any chance at all, IMO.
  24. Yes, I agree we shouldn't let Alex of the hook just because he's dead. It's not like killers were immortal. And he obviously wasn't killed on purpose. But I'm okay with investigating the Swanson Residence before we head to the Jordans' one.
  25. I don't think you understand, but that's no surprise, how could I expect someone else to understand psychology? Of course nobody of you has any clue what I'm talking about, except maybe my imposter and Doctor Quinzel, but she's only a psychotherapist and not even a good one. So, you're afraid of losing at life, which is why you make life be a game, as you're less afraid of losing a game, which happens more than often. Life gives no second chances, but games do. And I am the one who knows life is no game, which is why I'm not leaving riddles, but clouds of nocuous fear gas. And without my mask and my toxin, I still am what I am, a brilliant psychologist and one of the few sane people in this lounge.
